Bought a pair in store a couple of hours ago. Also I noticed that sizes are weird, In the UK I always buy size 9 but for these ones had to get size 7.5 because with my usual size they were so long that I looked like Krusty the clown

These shoes are hardly unfashionable? They are a lot better looking than the photos depict. Yeah some of them are unfashionable but these just look the same as all the other formal shoes in every shoe shop. These actually have an advantage of being comfortable and actually having some grip on the bottom which after suffering a fall around 5 years ago and having problems with my shoulder ever since, rubber sole shoes are top of my priorities.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Clarks- it's just the shoes that are very unfashionable, though I realise not everyone cares about fashion and I did genuinely vote hot

Good price if you have no fashion sense or need orthopedic shoes - voted hot

Are these soft around the border? I have a pair of brogues that literally destroy my feet when I walk with them because the border is like a knife

They are really comfortable. They are rubber soled so quite soft with the benefit of actually having some grip.

Thanks Op. I'm not a fan of them but looking at the other items I have gone for the 'Fincy Limit' tobacco Suede shoe. Same price. They look like a brogue. I usually wear Grey trousers for work so they will go nicely.

Thanks, have some heat - I bought this exact pair on black friday for £38 from my local shoe shop. I have just bought another pair to keep for when these wear. The slip ons wouldn't fit me as they were really tight compared to the lace ups but I do have quite wide feet so this is something to bear in mind if you wanted the slip ons (which I did as I have to be searched when leaving depots at work).
