I'm not convinced by Quidcos sign up incentives. Took about 4 months to get my £10 signup bonus, and I had to chase it up 4 or 5 times before it finally showed as confirmed, then had to wait another month or so for it to be credited.

agree, I'm still waiting for a £10 bonus that they said I didn't activate, even when the first time I chased it up they said yes it was on my account and would pay when my cashback had cleared! stay clear of quidco!

Hassle ? Its hardly hassle when you would be purchasing it online anyways through 'toys r us'. Pay with paypal too to save finding your wallet.... literally took me two seconds to sign up with an alternative email address and purchase it.

I had loads of hassle with Vodafone from Quidco, took year to sort and sent loads of messages and screen grabs to prove it.
in the end said that I had enough and I quit quidco and they sorted it out, so much time wasted I could have spent browsing HUKD and spending more money.
Spend money to save Money a bit like the chicken and Egg dilemma.

My boyfriend just did it so we will see how it goes...make sure you're not using any type of pop-up blocker including ad blocker and ad blocker pro because they cause issues with tracking even if it seems like it's working at the time.

Same here - signed up to Quidco and got a welcome email.
Placed the order - got 2 emails, one from Quidco to say I've made a purchase and an order confirmation from Zavvi

It's best to disable any ad blockers when using cash back sites.

Topcashback have a "white list" for AdBlock Plus somewhere in there help section.
This adds a list of tracking systems to be exclude from being scanned by AdBlock Plus... Since using that I've not had issues with Topcashback.

My boyfriend never got his money from this either, its a con, quidco often does not follow through on these offers as promised. It was supposed to be credited Dec 23rd and a week later still no sign of it.

My wife joined up to get this offer. Despite being told the money would be refunded by Dec 23rd she still hasn't received it. She is now being told that they have to wait until Zavvi confirms the order was made and this could take up to 3 months. We're so disappointed with Quidco on this.

This isn't good :disappointed: did you go to quidco and then "visit retailer" etc so it could be tracked efficiently? I have noticed if you don't do that, the process can be a bit crap. I got an email saying the order had been tracked and everything RIGHT AWAY, but I navigated through the direct 'visit retailer' button. unsure how you did it :/ Sorry to hear this. I feel bad because I advertised this to you .

She did indeed. Here is an excerpt frpm the 2nd to last email (30/12) she received about it:

"I've taken a look into your bonus for you.

I can confirm that you opted into the bonus correctly. Your bonus will be added to your account around 72 hours after your initial purchase has updated to confirmed."

At this point the support ticket was marked as "resolved". It wasn't. So she sent a further email to Quidco and got this reply today:

"I've taken a look into your claim for you and I'm pleased to tell you that everything is progressing as normal at this stage. Claims for Zavvi usually take around 4 months to be confirmed, from the date that you raised the claim."

So thats where we're at now.

My partner got the same 'wait 72 hours' fob off message so I waited 4 days and messaged again and was told to wait another 72 hours which would be today and it's still not there. Terrible.

That's horrific! it was a guarantee for 23 hours. I have the screen capture saying so too.I don't know how to upload this screen cap, but that is false advertisement!!!
