Still not sure how to redeem, the [redeem] buttons don't do anything.
Am I supposed to go to that website from the chromecast app or something?
Also, can the £20 movie credit be spent on other Google Play stuff like apps/music?

Just so everyone aware; i ordered one on last Wuaki deal over 3 weeks ago and still haven't received it! (Im not the only one!) So wouldn't count on having it before the google credit deal expires and certainly don't bank on it for Christmas pressies.

What's better, a roku 3 or chromecast?

I would say the devices are different (and in my opinion roku people hate chromecast as it steals a good portion of what would have been their sales).
Roku 3 (I will presume you are not talking about the roku stick which I would definitely say is not worth the money) is a box so it needs to sit next to your tv and can't just "hang" from it, there is an upside of this - you get more ports and better internals.
Roku is designed as an all reound media player while chromecast is a streaming device. What this means is that Roku will support more file type's and be far more willing/able to access your local network shares. (You can achieve a similar thing with chromecast but it won't work without internet, even for the local content).
All in all if you are interested in streaming youtube, netflix, itv, play movies, etc there is no reason to pay more for a roku. If you are interested in viewing your local content (from a USB stick or a personal cloud/ NAS) then go for Roku.
Also bear in mind Roku doesn't really have a lot of software going for it, what you see is roughly what you get, while massive popularity of the chromecast has sprawned a decent number of apps supporting it, so you can say cast a website or an image or a game to the tv from your phone which you most likely can't do with a roku.
Basically it is not a black and white situation.

Took about 10 days for mine to arrive after the MI deal. More irritating that they don't show any order/dispatch information you can track.

When you download the Chromecast app on your device; phone, tablet, computer, then install the Chromecast to your t.v. You just need to hit the link and the money is then put in your Google play account.

Mine arrived after a week and you get a free movie (currently selling for £7.99 on Google Play) to watch/keep as soon as you purchase. But if you are in a hurry it would make more sense to buy from a shop

I ordered during the Mission Impossible offer; with the Chromecast 2 being delivered on Monday.
So with £20 Google Play Credit, Mission Impossible movie, another free movie via Google Movies, 2 Months Free Movie Package on NowTV, 3 Months Free Spotify and 3 Months Free Google Music...(all can be cancelled after free trial period) for only £19.99 not a bad offer at all!

Very good on my device (Htc One M8). Use it to cast Amazon Prime Video to my TV and it works absolutely fine. Can drain battery though because the screen has to stay on (its mirrored). If you dont have Netflix or buy into Play's ecosystem the fire stick might arguably be a better device. However, I got mine for £20 and its one of the best purchases I've ever made. Use it every day; cast BT sport off it, iplayer, 4od, netflix. I would say if you are wanting to cast mirror your screen, the chromecast is an EXCELLENT option.

When you open the chromecast app (assuming you are using an android device) there will be a banner which you click. This will then apply the credit to your account.
