Thanks Paullad4 - just picked one up for a £1. We always keep an artificial tree as a back-up but it just doesn't look the same :innocent:

Thanks paullad4!
Got a large spruce for £1 from London Acton store. I usually go for a fir tree but there where only a couple poorly looking firs, but quite a few spruce trees all sizes and fresh looking!
Prior to heading off called the Wandsworth store and was told theirs are all reduced to £5 while at Chiswick they are just half price

No didn't think to get it scanned, asked a member of staff and that's the price they said there were reduced to today. So went next door and found a free one at Homebase!

The price is decided on a store by store basis. If they have lots left, they can reduce them right down. If they've nearly sold out, they stay at half price.

Hi, do you know if this price is national at all B&Qs? I checked online and most of the trees are still full price....

Aldi and bnq are next door to each other in Weston so doubled the chances of finding a £1 tree that I don't need ! thanks for posting
