I purchased one of these from Lidl for Christmas 2013 - oversummered it in the greenhouse for two years with a lidl tlc - and it's still growing strong.

Kalanchoe or Snow covered Conifer in a ceramic Xmas pot - £2.49
Amaryllis in Glass bowl - £5.58 (Discard the lemon)
Seasonal Hyacinth (3 bulbs) in basket arrangement - £2.79
Christmas Cactus - £1.59 or two for £3
Potted Christmas Tree in a 21cm Jute bag - £6.99

You cannot kill this reindeer!
Just stand the animal in the sink when watering (gently) once a week - and drain off before repositioning :wink:
