As title, chicken breast is on offer at Musclefood.com for Black Friday.
2.5kg is £9
5kg is £18
10kg is £36
I have ordered from here previously so can vouch for the quality.
Enter code 'ONCEAYEAR' at checkout. I got free delivery when ordering 10kg, not sure about lower amounts.

Confused as to how this can be voted cold when it's cheaper than all the supermarkets, anyone care to share a reason why?

I have no idea, I find it good pricing especially with the 10% student discount!

because you have to have a minimum of £25 ordered to be delivered and then pay for delivery on top, e.g you cant just buy 2.5kg

I've bought 10kg myself already this morning, I was responding to the OP asking why people think this is cold, Musclefood have some good offers but they wont deliver orders under £25 so the listing 2.5kg and 5kg are only of use if you add them to something else

27 Nov 15#10
I still don't get the coldness. Get one of the other offers to take it over?
paulj48
27 Nov 151#11
All their offers are via redemption codes, you can only use 1 code per order so that isn't an option.
Musclefood deals always go cold on here regardless of the offer, I think it has something to do with their ridiculous over inflated RRP they list.

I think it may be down to their "aggressive" marketing and their inflated RRPs - or so I've read in previous threads. I am a customer but I generally find their chicken and mince offers the best, a lot of their "stack" deals aren't great value (IMO).
That said this is clearly a good deal but I guess a bad reputation in some people eye's mean it's the retailer that gets marked cold rather than the deal.
Voted hot BTW

I wasn't aware MuscleFood had such a bad reputation, either way it has some heat now.

Great deal. Ordered 10kg @ 3.60 a kg.
Code gave me free delivery too !
I have been a long time customer of MF for chicken. Well trimmed breasts, with very little water content - much better quality than equivalent barn reared in the supermarkets. Have had the occasional issue where packs have split during delivery and one occasion where the meat smelt (think it was the packing gas) but MF customer service has always been excellent.

How many fillets would be in 10KG? My local butcher is £1 each when you buy 4+, so wondering how that compares. They now do 4 packs in their 3 for £10 or 7 for £20 offer (i.e. 28 for £20).

Normally get about 24/25 per 5kg of the 200g chicken breasts.

If you are already spending over a certain amount on your order then you can use this code to choose freebies to add to yout order instead of using the free delivery code: KW256156 Only one code can be used per order so its best to work out which one works out the best value.

It's a great price, but I ordered some stuff from them once and a few days before the use by on the chicken it didn't look very healthy, abit yellow! Ended up throwing some of it away, I wouldn't expect that from supermarket stuff never mind from Muscle Food, I'd order to try it out again, but I was surprised at the time....

HUKD really confuses me... I post a musclefood deal a while back and was told it was removed because it was 'not suitable' for HUKD and not an 'established brand' and therefore wasn't allowed!!
Saying that though I'm glad to see it hear. I'm a regular user and they have some fantastic deals! I've got my 'Black Friday box' arriving next week!

FFS I ordered way too much late last night 1-2am, 15KG :disappointed:... I don't even have enough freezer storage.
Their contact system seems terrible, I hope they can refund.
Stick a post up on facebook - maybe someone locally wants 5KG?

Thanks, I thought 1/4 to 1/2 pound & prob towards the heavier end. When you talk about poor trimming, do you mean how sometimes you get a chunk of bone left on? Never get that at my local butcher. Glad to know they are as good value as I thought.

I'm a regular customer of Musclefood, and I too can attest to their quality and value. People slating this deal need to understand that to get maximum value, you need to buy enough to qualify for free delivery. I typically buy enough to last 3 months in a single order and freeze most of it.
Their RRP prices are ridiculously inflated, but that doesn't take away from the fact you're getting much higher quality meat (lean, and not injected with added water) and at cheaper prices than the supermarkets. Their Salmon fillets are the nicest I've ever tasted. I always buy a bundle of some sort and buy the salmon fillets on top. Their new customer bundles are great, and I'm a particular fan of their chicken sausages and hache steaks.
If you're a fan of Jerky or Biltong, it also represents much better value than supermarkets when it's on offer for £1.50 per 50g bag.
The only things I've found slightly lacking are the steaks. They can sometimes be a bit on the thin side, so a bit difficult to cook just the way you like it, but not impossible.

Ordered 20kg for the chest freezer, should last a while. Its also worth noting that although free delivery is over £75 that is BEFORE discounts, so any order over 10kg (£36) is delivered free.
