Think perhaps there is a misunderstanding, i'm not discussing this particular camera but a rapbian/generic webcam setup

Anyone know if these can be used with synology surveillance station etc (are they onvif or psia compliant) or are you forced to use with motorola's cloud solution?

Since there is no local logon for these cameras, could you please tell me how you managed to access the web stream without crews etc?
Also, what are you running motion on?

Can't comment on the OP's set-up but mine is running Motion if you need an overview this will probably do you. And set the config to save to wherever your google drive is (or dropbox as i do)

Was marginally cheaper from a 3rd party seller but probs had to pay postage as well? Not been cheaper Amazon at least since August 2014 so not sure why somebody changed my post? Or am I missing something?

I use an old Android phone (Moto G) and Tinycam Pro (couple of quid on G Play) for an almost free solution. Not best quality but good enough for my purposes and uploads to GDrive no problem. Also works in conjunction with my Synology server's surveillance app.

Worth every penny but this is not the cheapest it has been. Bought two for £30 at black friday from amazon.

Got one of these from Argos a while back, "two way communication"? Er no....the audio out is pathetic and cant be amplified. Took it straight back for a refund.

It's a good price, and worthy of some heat - but I got it for £29.99 on a lightning deal. Not quite the cheaper ever.

You can build an HD cam using a raspberry pi. All in about £50 and I have it uploading to Google drive.

Cheap but practically useless unless you pay a monthly subscription.

£32.99 at Currys in black, good basic home monitoring camera very easy to set up.

live stream is free,more of a baby or pet monitor,not a hidden camera

i guess you can;t use this as a hidden camera

Be aware also reading review that motorola made their app 30£ a month instead of free

Just get it for £30 from Amazon Warehouse - it will be brand new, if not and you want brand new then return it.
