I ordered the snowman and the dove. I have them indoors in my bedroom windows (think they would go walking if outside), however, the smell is awful! I've been going to sleep with the window open to help get some fresh air in to the room. It's been 3 nights now and they are still smelling - any idea as to how long the smell from the rope lights should last - and just wondering actually if the smell coming from the lights is toxic! Any ideas please? Thank you.

Now won't be getting the snowman after waiting in for 3 days and being told it had gone to the wrong house. The lady on the phone said the had told me the wrong thing twice and it had never been sent out pretty mad about it.

:-( ordered the santa and a couple of other bits and order arrived without the santa and now oos so had to have a refund!

If they work they are good value. Don't expect too much though as 2 out of the 5 I bought did not work.

I have had various rope lights like these. They will stop working completely or parts of it but you are talking a fair few years before that happens usually. Mine have lasted about 5 years of being up for a month each time per year then carefully packed back in their boxes in the loft.

Picked up a load more today couldnt help myself was gonna post the deal but saw it had been shared already

Just a word of caution I had a reindeer made out of the same stuff and after one year it was put up and not too long after it flickered and half of the lights died and then a few days later the whole thing did so, not sure these are the best types of lights you can buy.

Are these for outside or for windows?

I'm wondering if they use regional warehouses and that's why stuff manages to be both in and out of stock, only failing once your address is in the system. The lanterns were doing the same as the £15 trees yesterday. Bought a tree and various lights with next day delivery, so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully its goodbye tiny 3 foot tree!

I'm going to have these indoors at the windows - the snowman looks like it is on a stand, but can somebody tell me what I would use (special clips?) to fix the dove one to the windows please?
