Cex appear to have joined in Black Friday and have halved the price of every blu-ray that was previously around £2.50 or less. Hundreds to pick from. Quite a lot of big movies for around the 75p to £1 mark. Prices start at just 50p. Few rental budget versions (usually rental copies), if your not bothered about that, and plenty normal blurays to.some great bargains. Lot of good ones for £2.50 aswell
Ive added a few links in first post
REMEMBER: Cex now have 2 years warranty on all items and they can now be returned to store if you buy online, so you can always request a replacement if one is available if the need arises.

A lot of tat but there's a few decent ones among them. Moonrise Kingdom is a brilliant and well worth 50p

Dunno if its because xmas is coming up but they've increased all dvds/blurays that were under 50p to 50p

Yeah its a minimum of 50p. They have 1 or 2 few terrible ones at 30p sometimes but theres only ever 1 in stock. I check the site regular and they normally adjust prices pretty willy nilly on items. This looks more like a Black Friday related sale to me, with it being blurays that were previously around 2.50 being effected only. They could never half price everything as itd be chaos.
I dont pay attention to DVDs since theres tens of thousands on there, many ive never heard of. Could spend all day sifting through them

I've got a list of ones i've been after so just manually searched instead. If i order them as a whole with this deal, I'll actually save £12 quid over buying them in the shops so that's good enough for me.

Don't order online from these, I made the mistake of ordering three times online, each time they send me the worst possible condition product they can find. The stores are decent but the online seem to just send you utter tat to get rid of it.

Shameful tat, my local store if your trying to sell or trade in a game or movie they will go out there way to look for the tiniest scratch they can find and refuse to do business. have you seen the state of the stuff they sell Always good for a laugh these characters.

you'll find that the worst offenders for that are the franchise-owned stores. there's one in romford in essex who are notorious for screwing people over like that and generally being staffed by utter sh*ts as well.
consequently, the one in brentwood is a corporate store and they couldn't be nicer in there.

That's interesting to know. The Rathbone Place one in London used to be atrocious, but they seem to have put a lot of effort into turning it around but for at least the past year, everyone in there seems to be friendly and helpful each time I go in. Grays in Essex also appears to be a decent one too (even if it does have the traditional CEX aroma).

It should be, the online and store prices are the same. Aslong as it is the same item. Also i know someone who works there who said he spent ages updating all the price stickers on the cheap blu-rays because of it

Stratford branch is my favourite, a third of the blu-rays don't have the genuine box so they download and print one from the Internet. On a cheap colour inkjet. The cracked boxes with the redtag smashed off is a common feature of CeX stores

I hate that people mistreat cases like that, they look like Freddy Krueger has tried get in em.
For what its worth, they got 2 year warranty now and youvan return items instore now. On the odd occasion ive had something not upto my standard i just send it back and ask fir a replacement to be sent out.

Then again, with unwashed moshers buying and chavs selling, it's bound to cause a stink.

crap website, just added 5 discs but when clicked on the basket only 2. Presumably sold out while shopping but no notice to say these items are no longer available. Gave up as it wasn't worth £2.50 for two discs.

All but two arrived which I got refunded for, only 1 of them I'm not happy with, 50p one, the disc if fine but the case is smashed. Can't be bothered going to the store for 50p..... Got 68 in great condition not bad for under £60 (Got £2 and the delivery fee refunded due to the missing two)
