The sooner this joke of a company folds, the better for the country. You're not missing anything boycotting them anyway, all Ashley sells is cheap worthless tat...
Also, I don't think they do refunds, only exchanges or credit notes. So not for me.
And some of their instore prices aren't that cheap.

I used to work in perfume sales and a lot of these products are very commonly faked ones. However, that's not to say that these are too. A lot of them look like discontinued packaging, last years gift sets etc. If you're going to buy then I suggest paying a bit extra for the 'gift' set if they have it, because those are more likely to be genuine. Most companies that manufacture knock-offs don't bother with the add-ons such as body moisturisers etc because the real money is in the single perfumes, and it's harder to keep up with the gift set styles and packaging, as they change often. Also, check the packaging is properly sealed when it arrives- uneven folds in the cellophane or cellophane thats unsealed at either end is a tell-tale sign of a fake. Also, the quality of the bottle should be a dead give-away - if fake it will look cheap and be covered in imperfections and fakes also often have 'bits' floating around inside the bottle, and poor quality spray nozzle.
Also, I know the brand isnt that popular in the UK, but I find Escada perfumes nice to wear- pretty, sweet and fruity and a steal at £9 on the site.

I'll add to the calls to boycott this disgusting company. Sports Direct has always been a joke. From their borderline illegal "no refunds, ever" policy (which staff sneakily don't always tell you about), to the absolutely illegal working practices imposed upon their slaves... um, I mean... employees - they are a cancerous blight upon the world and I shall be overjoyed to see them shut down.
Personally, I haven't bought from them for about a decade, since one of their idiot staff members lied to my face about having told me of their non-existent refunds policy, when they had not.

I have a feeling it's cheap because of the packaging. I remember The Perfume Shop selling Alien in the "Power of Gold packaging" for £34.99 in January 2015, so it's probably the same thing in this case. And there's no difference scent-wise between the Power of Gold one and the standard Alien.

if they are genuine there are some really great prices there. Diesel Loverdose is very hard to find for under £30 (and it is an amazing scent). Even with £5 delivery (if you choose that) its only £17.

I was worried cos I ordered alien edp but reading about SD on Internet doesn't mention anything about selling fake copied fragrances and such. Other websites have been brought into question but not SD so fingers crossed

Get off your high horses people. SD might not pay great wages nor give great working atmosphere to employees, but that's how they sell cheap.
Some of the same items can be bought elsewhere for much more but even then all you are doing is lining up the pockets of the management.
Based on the same arguments on why people should not buy from SD, I would therefore expect the same comments on all of the Chinese exporters like Banggood and Gearbest,
In any case, the "price" is hot, and that's how I've voted.

I ordered on Friday - clinique happy, boss bottled x2, emporio armani he and she. Picked up today with click and collect and can confirm these are 100% genuine. They all have price labels on them which looks like they have been sold in one of their other stores ie USC.

For all the doubters out there, i ordered late yesterday and arrived this afternoon, i wasn't sure what it would be like thanks to all the comments, going by the quality of packaging and and quality of the bottle and that there's a little booklet inside and its covered tightly in plastic i would say its 99% genuine discontinued stock which you find very often with different things, cant go by smell as its a present but dont worry just grab the bargain

Ordered Yves Saint Laurent Manifesti L'Elixir earlier and was already worried about the earlier comments. Good that I read until the end. It's not a common perfume so might be cheap because of that. Will have a good look at it though.

I received a bottle of YSL manifesto yesterday. Comparing it to a bottle I bought elsewhere I'd say the bottle appears to be a slightly different colour, still purple but not as bright more a browny purple. Smells identical and I'd say the smell lasts just as long!
Seems genuine apart from the colour thing, could it just be old stock?

Hello, after recently being conned by a sports direct employee into buying trainers I would recommend not to purchase anything from this company. I was lookimg for running trainers and was told asics were the best. I went in and Corrie was the person who helped me. Now I kniw nothing about trainers, so if you give me Nikes and say they're Armani, I will believe you. I said to Corrie I want asics as they're best for running, so he talked and talked about asics karimor d30 and I agreed to purchase them. He was getting them sent to counter and there was a que. He told me, when you get to counter ask for asics karimor. Anyway, they were 80 quid. I got home and was told they were NOT asics but Karimor and that these were 2 different brands. I decided to get a refund but obviously they don't refund. So I kicked up a fuss and got a refund. I would really really avoid this store at all costs.
