Much more useful size the 5 litre one, as most people will need 5-5.5 litres to do an oil change.

Hi, is this suitable for a Diesel engine?

No. They do a diesel version, I understand this info isn't helpful on this deal, but don't risk it for a fiver lol.

Double check this is genuine. I had some Castrol Magnatec off them, the label looked a by odd but I put it in anyway. Very soon after I have a tapping top end noise that wouldn't go away. Now I've done many many oil changes so know what I'm doing. Sure enough, a trip to Halfords to buy the SAME spec Castrol Magnatec oil and the noise went away.
They used to sell lots of dodgy fake Eastern Bosch products like batteries and got caught out. Problem is, they were selling so much that Bosch offered them an official distribution deal.
I'm convinced they sold me some crap fake oil.

Sadly I'd already disposed of the canister. Besides, when it comes to oil they can come up with all the excuses under the sun, contamination etc so I can only really say it's a strong suspicion. I'm unaware that oil could expire?
They also sold me a cat pipe that doesn't fit properly either, yes it was the "correct" fitment. Cheap Chinese rubbish.

All I'm saying is check it's real. I don't know how they currently validate these things, they used to have a hologram on them.
The one I had didn't.

cold because I used the correct Castrol Edge for three oil changes over 3 years according to car manufacturer spec. but I found it took a long while to warm up engine. Once I'd changed over to the correct spec Fuchs oil my car now heats up much quicker, in half the time.
