Bush 50W Soundbar £23.49 @ Argos.

i just used the headphone from the tv to soundbar. i was disappointed it didn't have optical connection as advertised but sound quality is very good using tv headphone to soundbar.

Had to buy a digital to analogue signal changer to use this with my TV as that only had an optical out. Definitely a big improvement on sound. I'm sure if you pay a lot more you'll get a lot better but I can't see what difference there would be between this sound bar and others up to about the £100 mark. Happy with the purchase, cheers op

It doesn't have optical.... It has coax (comes with a coax to coax lead) and 2 phono ports (comes with a 2 phono to stereo jack lead). I've not had much time to try mine out to test the sound so can't rate it properly, but it seems better than the terrible tv speakers it's replacing. I would have liked a way to tweak sound settings on it manually (it only has a few presets like movies, flat etc) but for £23 I can't complain, it's obviously not as good as my £120 LG one though so don't expect miracles
