Hope this is of some help to some parents out there . I know we are not supposed to hang shopping off pushchairs but let's face it , a lot of us do it and this aims to stop it tipping over . Reviews seem good. Would never pay more than £5 for something like this so don't think it's worth its RRP but at this price it's not bad !

Child doesn't have to be in the buggy for it to tip. Ergo buggy weights.

First it's 800 quid prams being discussed as a bargain, now we're adding ballast to stop prams tipping over.
Is it just me out are the mum's around here getting more and more stupid

Personally I think these could be quite a useful thing for some people, particularly at this price (I agree with OP I wouldn't pay more than £5), people often forget that it isn't just groceries, the changing bag alone can be quite heavy once laden for a day out with a baby and/or toddler, and when said toddler decides they want to get out to feed the ducks or go on the swings, you are left with an unbalanced pushchair that cannot be left alone while you are pushing toddler on the swings or holding their hand. And before anyone disagrees, no the bag doesn't always fit underneath.
Good deal, heat from me.

I'll maybe think twice before I post a deal again . Haven't posted For a while but don't ever remember HUKD being so bitchy! Simply thought this deal might help someone at a reasonable price . People clearly trolling this thread to get a reaction

How much for a couple of bricks?

Yep, strapping a brick or stone would do the same. I bet you can find one around for free and a bit of duct tape and sorted.

Oh perfect - I can't tell you the number of times I've been pushing a laden buggy back up the 1.5km hill on my way home from town and thought to myself, "I wish this buggy was even heavier, and I wish I could pay for the privilege".
Do you know what happens when a buggy tips backwards? Jack-**** apart from insecure mothers feeling embarrassed that everyone's looking at them and judging them as terrible mothers. Grow a pair ladies, you don't need **** like these.

um...can't quite work out if you are joking or just being rude... but - Not everyone lives up the 1.5km hill near your house ...and quite clearly a buggy tipping up could hurt the child, or a elderly passer. Using these weights to prevent tipping doesn't make mothers insecure - and I have no need for a 'pair' - how demeaning to women. Fine if it's not the deal for you - but hukd is for the whole community, so there will always be stuff you personally don't need.

Toddlers do tend to want to squirm out of the seat to walk sometimes yes? That would mean said buggy would no longer have a child to act as a counter-weight for the groceries. Because, if you need to grab some groceries and have your child in tow, where else are you going to put said groceries? You're certainly not going to be lugging a backpack around too.

I would have so bought these, had they been around when my kids shot out of the pushchair - Leaving an incalculable amount of stuff upturned - that theymay just need for a simplistic walk to the post box !!

Statistically it's probably fairly accurate, but we're not allowed to say that anymore so yeah I agree it's sexist misogynistic anti-feminist anti-seminist Islamophobic racist discriminatory fatist ageist and yeah, sexist.

Mothers with those prams don't do their own shopping do they. It is home delivery from Waitrose or send out the nanny. :stuck_out_tongue: (I'm about to be shot down in flames)

Great deal, these are usually more expensive. I use my similar weights all the time to make sure my bags don't tip my lightweight buggy (it doesn't have much of a basket underneath).

me, its good when someone admits they have no common sense, and then go on to tell people to bore off, why do these mothers care more for their shopping than their child's safety
xdaminis
2 Dec 152#1
Great, now the mothers can load even more before it tips over and sends the kid flying.

Lol bore off. Who hasn't put shopping over the buggy handles and with some buggies a bag of nappies is enough to top it *cough* petite star zia.
You can't buy common sense, unfortunately, so someone who has their entire food shop hanging off the back of it is going to do so regardless.

I thought there was a childhood obesity epidemic... If so why do we need the extra weights. Unless it's self
Perpetuating fatter kids = more shopping. In which case just buy one of the stores own trolly for a pound.

Of course. 100 mph officer, not me. With the ton of building sand in the car it would have been more stable, so I have no idea why I ended upside down in that ditch.
