I bought one of these for £139 from Currys on black Fri. ..... absolutely amazing, umm'd and arr'd for ages before buying, soooo glad I did, sound quality and bass will knock your socks off!
Never had a Bose product before and wondered what the fuss could be all about... now I know! :smiley:

Yes very good I bought one myself ant it ended up £113 with no fees, if budget is tight try the anker speaker on Amazon very similar and only £44.99 I bought them for xmas presents in a lightning deal for £23.00 and I'm amazed at the quality!

Do they not include the UK plug adaptor which slots on to the Bose charger?

I know you can charge by USB but I don't want to use ugly third party stuff.

Just call Bose UK they will happily send you the adaptor that will allow you to use the 13 pin.

Not so much of an issue with the version 2 as it charges from usb cable

Anyone know how it compares to the first model? Bought one last Christmas but may upgrade if there's been much improvement. Heat added.

The major difference between the first one is that it can be charged via USB rather than a proprietary connector also I think they tweaked the audible information like battery life etc. As for the audio components I think it's mostly unchanged apart from a slight toning down of bass. Oh and the battery is now non replaceable unlike the first one which was slightly disappointing.

Bargain at this price. Just paid £150 at the airport and it's amazing.
