sure it will happen. Just look out the market, Bose did say wireless is not good for the sound quality a few years back and what have they been doing for the last few years?

Noise leak on these is horrendous. If anyone disagrees, get yourself wearing them on mid volume in a quite room and ask someone if they can hear them. They will say yes.
Bose are a foolish company to charge an arn and a meg for something that doesn't sound fantastic and leaks noise. As for the noise cancelling, get yourself some 99p earplugs, you'll save £200+
Ps, would ONLY recommend if you fly at least once every month, as then these will be useful in enjoying your day to day comfort, but for your annual holiday...it really is not.
I fly monthly and these are great. I'm no audiophile so could not say too much about the sound quality. Sound great to me. You can't even hear the plane when some music is on. No brainer for travellers at this price!

I bought these on an amazon spain deal 6 months or so ago. I always wanted one but refused to pay the price, now I have a pair, if I had to pay full price, I would. I could not do without them now.
I use them to block out the world, and they work great. Manage expectations however, so many of the negative reviews I see were of people expecting some kind of total sound block, they don't do that. Imagine turning the volume down on the world, it was set at level 11 on the volume dial (because the best things go up to 11), and these head phones drop it down to a 5 or 4. Put some music through them, that drops down to a 1.
They have big cavities, so ears are comfortable and never overhead, build solid, just great things. Can't recommend enough, and at this price a fantastic deal.

I got these a year ago and they are simply fantastic. Especially if you fly a lot or for train journeys, they are just the best. When you watch a movie in a plane, you can hear a page turn or the wind blow - normally I can't hear a thing of the movie! I plug them into my nexus and off I go :smiley:

I actually bought Soundtrue AE for £65 from Currys which I received today. (do not mistake it with the on-ear from Argos £60)
I never tried. I already sold it on ebay.
I don't like wired for my commute.
I already pack up for delivery. I do not plan to open it. I cannot compare.
I like AE2w's comfort and sound. I got a Philips Fidelio M2BT on the way which I will compare with AE2w and decide which one to keep.

It was AE2w, then changed name to Soundlink Around-Ear II.
And now there is a newer model which looks better (no bluetooth unit stick out) for £40 more than AE2w.

Got these last week on the Amazon Spain deal which was £158 each, they are simply amazing, the noise cancelling is out of this world and makes the music so much better by removing the surrounding ambient noise, I can listen to music much quieter using these as I'm not trying to drown out the surrounding noises

1. use your amazon uk login, all information already there.
2. Can subscribe Prime for 30 day free trial too.
3. Normally you get charged for delivery to UK.
4. No need to worry about import duty or VAT as no customs for goods acquired from EU member states. Price already included VAT based on the seller's country rate.
5. You can choose to pay £ using amazon exchange, the rate is not too bad for me.
6. You could choose to pay by €, then the exchange rate is determined by your bank, and you may end up pay extra charges to your bank. Most banks will have extra charge.
I normally go for amazon currency exchange, as I know before I placed the order how much in £ I need to pay. It is only going to be around 3% above middle rate.
A lot bank charge 2.75% + few pounds transaction fee which work out worse.

Bose wireless currently only have Soundlink AE, they do not have noise cancelling.
I bought yesterday from Amazon lightning for £100, received today.
I am impressed, very comfortable, balanced sound, not too bassy as Bose normally is.
It is around-ear, seal is very good, passive noise cancelling seems to be a good job. I will try next week on my normal commute by train to see how good it is.
But either way, I am not too bothered about noise cancelling function.
The newer version is £40 more, better looking. the AE2w looks weird with the bluetooth unit.

I have one. great for flights but seem to chew batteries. mainly because there is no Auto turn off and it's easily forgotten. worth the money though
