Not tried it yet but you could play off-line with 2 players on the PS3 so I don't see any reason why it would need to be on-line for split-screen on the PS4.

Cold, Borderlands pre sequel ultimate edition is only £65 on ps3( i kid you not). Only joking about the cold. a bargain for £15, especially if you've a mate to play it with in coop.

I enjoyed Borderlands 2 on the PS3 but never played the pre-sequel. Will play through 2 again with the kids as it is 4 player split screen in the Handsome edition instead of 2 player on the PS3.

Is this worth picking up for £15? Saw it in my local but not sure whether good or not? (want to check out some reviews first plus I imagine it'll be quite a time sink).

I rinsed out BL2. The game is excellent.
Have not played BL3.

Played through both BL1 and BL2 on my own and co-op with a friend. BL2 is definitely, IMO, the better single-player game, but both are fantastically good fun in co-op. Neither one of us was as impressed with the Pre-Sequel, though, although that might be simply because we don't have the same sort of time to devote to it as we did when we played the first two.
