most are not worth it, this is true. buying them half price for next year through is a sound idea and saves you paying the original higher price when picking up everyone's gifts in 2016. sure some gift sets might change but not that much and many items are virtually unchanged in appearance or items included in the sets so most people wouldn't even notice :sunglasses:

Snow seems good too, but Christmas Eve seems a bit date-specific though I'm sure it smells nice on other days too! Plus the earliest date I managed for store collection is 31 December. For home delivery they said by 4 January, and these are 'festive fragrances', so I don't want to seem too much like 'I bought this in the sale'! :smile:

It's great!

There's the three full sized lip balm tins, a generous sized hand cream which is lovely and thick and probably as good as the l'occitane Shea butter one I have. Oh, and some emery boards which are a bit pants but good for a handbag or travelling.

It's the lip balms that are my absolute must-have, using every night they're just fantastic. They're not greasy, heavy or oily, and they just work so well.

I also picked up one of the joules hand wash and hand lotion duos for £5 in the sale as well (£4.50 after 10% off voucher mentioned earlier), as anything by joules shouldn't be too bad!

Just seen kids clothes are on sale too. Wish I'd known before I placed my order as there's a few things I'd have got for my nephews, but I don't have enough for free delivery and life's too short to click and collect during Boots sale time :laughing:

Think it must be only certain items. I bought 2 Liz Earle items to qualify for extra 500 points but it added 30000+ points. So not entirely sure what triggered the extra.

Voted hot however Boots need to re-think how they do things. I wanted to get either the Soap & Glory She Bang/In The Bag set. They are £30 and £9 online but £60 and £18 in store... You try C&C and you gave to wait a day to collect?! Obviously pointless with Xmas tomorrow! Only Argos can seem to manage the concept of buying/reserving something online and collecting the same day if in stock. When I actually went in store, there are literally LOADS of She Bang sets in the window! Well Boots you can keep the products as that's why there are so many sat there not being sold... Epic fail.

Good it started early and the site isn't crashing BUT the prices aren't that discounted in reality and don't feel they are that much of a deal.

I understand the reason, but when they will inevitably reduce the stock they do have in-store.. Why not make this price earlier so people can get last minute Christmas presents?! I have got all the presents I wanted to but the Soap & Glory stuff would have been a bonus. At the end of the day they have not made a sale so it's their loss. If they are willing to sell it for a certain price online, it should be the same in-store in my opinion. It's overpriced and that's why they have lots of stock left!

They don't accept online payment with gift cards. So annoying! They make sure that you don't get online offers, while they already have your money. Everyday I love Boots less and less.

It's OK. Armani Gio 50ml gift set reduced to £32 but decided to order 100ml from the fragrance shop for £63 plus 10% discount. I don't use the gels or balms so gift sets not great value to me.

2 bottles of perfume for £80. well happy!!

I spent £28 in Boots early this afternoon. I got my brother's birthday presents (his birthday is in May!) from half priced men's gift sets (x2) so I'm chuffed about that. Then I bought a few mini things for myself and a birthday present for my friend's birthday in May. I may have a look tomorrow and get something for a friend whose birthday is in February. This is a great way to get my friends and family gifts of a reasonable quality despite not having a lot of money.

Spent £200 in store on next year's gifts. Half rice gift sets bargain!! *hot

My local store in Bury had tonnes of stuff left including soap and glory, French connection and superdry stuff. They also had loads of the soap and glory whole she bang gift sets left.
I wonder if people are now not buying the sets are they are more expensive every year and you get one less product and no money off vouchers?

well Boots seems to have picked up on the points glinch. I got a text yesterday to say that my order has been picked and they are aware of a points error. My points balance may appear higher in error but this will be corrected. Sorry for any inconvenience. Gutted but not surprised.
