I thought this ended today, the 17th, but it no longer says anything about when the offer ends, on here nor on the website?

They are also offering £5 worth of points if you buy any other premium beauty item, there are some Ghost perfume baubles £5 each, This works range from £6, almost free with the bonus points, worth a look, when you put them in your basket, if its the right product it will state further down the page, the total points received. I bought this set and a 'This works' stress cracker (£6), and got the 500 bonus points, really pleased another little gift for a £1

Hopefully, this will be available when the gifts go down to 70% off. I got one last year for a fraction of the price.

Hi - anyone know the answer to this, I bought one in my local store yesterday, when I got there they had one bag by itself on a shelf that was pink (same design as the photo above) and loads at the main entrance that had pictures of lipsticks on them. I bought the pink one, but when I got home I looked it up online and couldn't find any trace of the pink bag version anywhere, only the lipstick one. Has anyone else had this scenario - I'm wondering if they've sold me last years stock or something? I didn't buy last year, so no idea. Any advice would be appreciated! :smiley: xxx

I will always give these star gifts a bit of heat because they are beltin', however, I will not be getting this one this year. Every year I get it and every year I don't use half of it. Works out at being worth it though even if you only use a few things. I'm waiting for the No.7 one! :stuck_out_tongue:

Just for info, buying all of these items individually (excluding the gift box) is £48.50, plus you can add an extra item up to the value of £8.00 because of the 3 for 2.

Okay, so the £60 is an inflated price, but for £30 this is still a great saving despite being slightly worse on value than previous years. Personally, I'll still be getting one for the other half as it's still a good buy no matter how much naysayers moan about it..

All I can say to the woman the said she's be "upset" if someone spent £30 on her for no other reason that it's Christmas, is that perhaps you out to reassess your life choices if this is what makes you unhappy.

remember the years gone by when you had to sit up until stupid o'clock to get one of these online?! Last few years I've managed with no trouble to order even a few days after the first day

Was about to moan about this, as I think it's reeks and it looks cheap, like something out of poundstretchers pretending to be trendy - Like those products that get popular because of the hype of forums like this, but really they aren't very good or good value. BUT then I realised people love their annual Soap and Glory excitement, and it made me feel all Christmassy and warm inside :smiley:

£1.1billion of corporation tax specifically. I imagine they've got plenty of tricks for minimising their VAT liability too. My objection is that regular companies that can't afford corporate accountancy companies to set them up in offshore tax havens have to pay this which means it's not a level playing field. Why should Boots get out of paying 21% corporation tax when independent pharmacy businesses have to pay it? Ditto for every other large business not paying it.
ISAs have nothing to do with corporate tax avoidance. Everyone has access to ISAs so I have no objection to them.

I live in Glasgow and have been getting these for my girls for the last few years, this year I have made their fellers aware that money is tight (its me that tight) and that if the girls do not receive one of these then their lives will not be worth living but to ensure that they do get them, we have agreed that I will be at store for door opening, so no disappointments. I will even use my Tesco credit card to get a few points.
These are still a good Deal compared to the price of buying them as single items and they are good products.

Regardless of whether you like Boots the store or not this is great value. Try pricing the items individually. I got halfway through and it was £41.50 even with 3 for 2.

I'm told there are 500,000 units available which sounds a lot and not sure how many in comparison to last year but I know my little local store in a market town still had some left a week later where as in 2013 I had to order online and they were gone in hours.

For the first year I am passing on this set. The items just are not appealing any more, less of them, same crappy foot cream and a lip gloss in a colour that is odd. Sad as I like the containers but not paying £29 for it.

You can buy 3 for 2 on indulgent bathing which includes Soap and glory and you can pick what you want
These are loosing an item less every year
They are not really worth £60 in the first place

Yep, my family member is working her notice as an assistant manager. She has been treated very badly and bullied by the store manager.

Tried to buy these in the 3 for 2 today at £60ea! Walked out after the lady in boots was incredibly rude to me, another staff member overheard and told me this deal was coming!

They've been putting this up by £1 every year, but this time it's £2!! It was £22 when I first bought this and it was an absolute bargain, now at £29, I'm giving it a miss this year.

Fabulous price!! Thanks for the heads up, will deffo try and get my hands on one, do think their trade mark scent can be a bit over powering at times, but the mascara and the lip gloss is very highly recommended!
