I have NO NEED WHATSOEVER for this phone, and I`m not someone who`s easily led by marketing hype, but this is brilliant! My credit card is taking a hammering! :disappointed:

Seriously good phones, Yep there are "some" apps missing, others have a little less functionality but windows phones work flawlessly and with minimal specs in comparison to android. Easy to use too
This phone is an utter bargain at this price! HOWEVER if anyone plans to use it with a 3 sim as secondary the 3 sim will not work at all as it can't handle the 2g :\ I know from experience on that. Won't affect everyone

Yeah because Android would run silky smooth? I think not.

Oh yeah, Windows, grrr, booo etc! But it's actually a very well developed OS and easy to understand for a non-techie. Plus you can't argue with the price!

Thanks OP. Bought one and have sold my Nexus 6 so i'm quids in! Been thinking of getting the Lumia 950 when it is available but at £35 i'm not sure I could go far wrong with this.

What was the price the other day when it popped up on Amazon? only i know someone who got one so I can tell them to try and get a price difference refund if it was higher.
Ah it's ok, I think that was the 5' HD version, which was reduced to £49.99 on Monday.

Sorry, not good when it comes to phones - I take it the Three sim would work as the primary sim? So you could use your Three sim for calls etc and put an O2 sim in the second slot for Priority deals for example?

Microsoft windows Nokia Lumia all the same . Excellent quality fast easy to use does everything . I cant believe these phones are so cheap . Soon people will be building houses with them . Best £ 4 £ phones out there ! I just bought Microsoft 640 from Carphone ware house for £70 nice phone but same as my last nokia really droped my old one and screen cracked but it lasted me 2 years and took a battering and I only payed £60 for that 2 years ago . I don't know how they can make them so cheap I feel as if your nicking it for how cheap they are !

Just to let you know you don't need the o2 SIM in for priority deals, just use the verification code then take the sim out
CuddlesTC
27 Nov 15#17
Thanks, that is what I usually do, but I was just wondering what I'd do with the second sim slot

I think it would be more useful for travelling, have your home sim for incomings and local sim for outgoings possibly? or maybe if you have one sim with purely data and another with texts & calls

So I definitely can't use 2 sims on Three network in this? Are there any dual sim phones that are 3g on both sims?

I believe the lumia 640 dual sim (Amazon 129.99) might fit this criteria, i was hoping for a deal on one this weekend to try it.

I just want an excuse to have a new gadget to play with! Maybe I could convince myself that one day I'll go travelling and I could use it for that....

A standard size SIM card (Mini SIM) will be too big for this phone.
This phone uses the Micro SIM format, which is the middle size of the 3 currently available sizes (nano being the smallest).

YES as the primary sim the three sim worked perfectly:) Then I had a bt mobile sim backing it up (ee network) I see someone else added info about o2 priority deals:)

Grr new I should have waited :stuck_out_tongue: Bought the 5" lightning deal the other day for Christmas for my mum - I know personally I prefer these smaller phones as they're easier to hold in one hand. Will have to decide after work whether or not its worth sending the other one back and getting this instead :stuck_out_tongue:
Any owners here have an opinion?

My Nokia 800 just died. Is this a better phone? Also, is it better than the Lumia 435?

Yes to both, although the main camera will probably be worse than your Lumia 800.

This Blu brand seems really exciting...
They have been in the US market for a few years and seem to have done really nice products, at amazing prices, compared to the big boys.
This phone is available in lots of different colours, just bought the pink one, for a friend who will not want a phone in any other colour!
