Item Under Review
While this item is available from other Marketplace Sellers on this page, it's not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are dispatching it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)
We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may still find this product available from other sellers on this page.

That's odd. It should be noted though that it only affects the grey version. The Yellow, White and Orange versions are available for either £59.99 or £59.02 direct from Amazon.

I bought one for my Mum for xmas, very impressive for the price. Pointless paying anymore for the Nokia equivalent imo.

I also bought the Blue Win HD. One BIG reason for buying MS Lumia is that you can join the Windows 10 Insider Preview safe in the knowledge that you can flash back to 8.1 at any time.
With Win HD, if you sign up for Inside Preview, and install an update that borks the phone (has already happened to a number of Blu owners) - then there is no fix.
Also, I personally value glance screen and super sensitive touch. Little differences - but if there is a Lumia for equivalent money, I'd personally choose it.
As it stands though, this phone is great value at £59 - and amazing value at the £50 I got it for

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong with the grey one? Contacted Amazon but the only thing I got out of them was that I could return it for a full refund and I already knew that.

Probably because when you first use it, it'll reboot every couple of hours. This is easily resolved by going to settings>phone update (where there is a critical software update from Blu waiting).
I'm not sure what else could be causing an issue as the specification on Amazon's website matches that of the phone.

My yellow one had a few issues. On the initial set-up of the phone it failed twice displaying a lightning bolt and cog symbol. It was easily sorted by just holding volume-down and the power key for 15 seconds.
Also I found the screen to be very jumpy and jittery when scrolling, this was also easily fixed by switching off screen magnification (the Lumia 535 suffers from a similar issue, although with a much worse touch-response).
These little issue's can be a big problem for a new user that doesn't know about the easy fixes available. My guess is that they have had a few returns from people who are unaware of how to fix the issues.

Got a white one and absolutely love it. It's such a great phone for the money and beats all the other Lumias at the same price range and it's the only 64bit processor Windows phone out there apart the new 950.
I would highly recommend it

Great tip about the screen magnification! I was wondering why my 1020 scrolled better than this Blu phone (when the Blu has a better processor).
My one niggly issue with the phone is now resolved

I got a grey one when they were £49. I've been thinking of going with Windows phone for a while now so snapped this up to try it out. It's a great phone for the price. I've a Nexus 5 as well (first gen Nexus 5 not a 5X) and the Win HD is just as quick. Camera and speakers aren't as good but that's to be expected given the price. The only thing that hurts is software/apps. I use the chromecast alot and lack of chromecast support in plex and youtube is something I'd really miss. Also, I'm trying to find an app that lets me track my sets and reps when working out. So far I've been unsuccessful. I use fitnotes on Android and it does the job very well. Any one know of something for Windows?

For YouTube casting you can use TubeCast, excellent third party YouTube app.

I have the grey one, recieved it on Black Friday, it rebooted 3 times in the first 12 hours, just as i was about to send it back, i received an update via wifi correcting the problem, seems they were aware of it and have now sorted it.
I cant get use to it so its now for sale.

Can't get used to it? That's probably due to some of the quirks of Windows Phone 8.1.
Windows 10 Mobile is a big step forward...and it will be officially released by Blu in the near future. Definitely worth waiting around for as it will really make the most of what is a great handset.

It's nothing mind blowing but it's good, will take decent shots and even in not so good lighting. With windows 10 it will get a better camera software package as well

looking at getting this for my daughter, she has the lumia 435 but wants to take selfies and play games, originally I was going to give her my 640 but she says its too big so was looking at the lumia 550. Would anyone say this is a better than 550, although I know the 550 has windows 10 already installed.
thanks

The 550 has an anaemic processor. For that reason alone, the Blu is the better buy. I have been using mine for a couple of weeks. It's a cracking phone - and faster than the 1020 by a good stretch. The only problem I have is that my screen has v.slight vertical banding. I may have to get it swapped.
Brilliant phone though aside from that.
