I sold tonnes of CD / DVD / Blu Ray dics to Music Magpie last week, and to give you an idea of what they buy them for: Avatar Double play set (DVD & Blu Ray in the same box) I was paid 30p for it. Some DVD box sets (3 DVD's) like CSI Vegas, I got an average of 20p. OK if you can't be bothered to take them to the charity shop.

OK it's probably very convenient with a service such as this but I'd sooner take them to the charity shop. At least then the charity has a chance of making a small amount of money on the items.

Nice one. Have used zoverstocks via amazon before and didn't know they sold direct from their website.
Just ordered 6 blu-rays for £9.76 after 10% discount code used. Including free delivery they must be making peanuts on some of these cheaper titles.
Be aware that they don't reserve titles in your basket until you go through checkout, so if trawling through lots of pages like I just did there's a risk someone may snap up the last item before you complete the purchase!

Yes musicmagpie, zoverstocks, estocks, that's entertainment are all the same company. All replay dvds and cds you see in poundland come from there.

If it is the same as Zoverstocks then I've used them lots without issue. Anyway thanks OP - I just got Batman Begins and Dark Knight Rises together for £4.50 on BluRay which whilst it isn't lots less than Amazon Market Sellers and eBay, it's still cheaper. Heat!

If they will sell me a blu ray for £1.39 with free delivery (never mind cost of the envelope, and paying staff to pack and ship it) and eat the credit card fee, AND somehow make a profit (after paying for those TV ads) , my God, how much did they buy it for from the original owner??
Doesn't bode well for offloading my collection
