Enid Blyton is one of the worst children's authors in my opinion, but I suppose the kids won't notice.

You are right. It is my opinion. And you are also right that she has left me of a mark than me but her books are terrible but I suppose they are a product of her time. I'm not going to criticise anyone for liking them and I probably should have kept my negative comment in my head but there you go.
However, my membership time and posting activity is not of any relevance. Have a lovely weekend.

I really enjoyed her books 30+ years ago, Mallory Towers was also a favorite, but I wonder if times have changed & kids are no longer entertained by a bygone era they have no conception of? Shame really

Agree. It's just that the libraries and schools won't stock most of her books, so it's left to those who read these back in the day to share with our children/grandchildren.
