Lets bring back the workhouses. No one cares about employees so long as it's "I'm alright Jack" and they have a good bargain.

I was fancying the 30 litre version so googled trying to find the dimensions and got the Gelert website where it sells for £7 - still don't know the dimensions though - any ideas?

Sorts Direct have at times owned as much as 30% of Blacks, but their holding has fallen steeply recentl. The wheeelings and dealings of this company are very difficult to keep track of!

They've just relaunched the brand this December. All new gear, so I expect they are just shifting all the old stuff. Berghaus are based on weirside so no doubt Ashley was first at the door sniffing out a bargain.
Berghaus posted 7% profit despite difficult period in the sector so I'd be surprised if they sold out.

Berghaus are owned by the same group that owns JD sports, millets and blacks. So It'd be odd if sports direct had bought Berghaus from them, but never know!

Anyone know how this will cope in rain? I was out with my friend in the rain for a bit a few weeks back and his Superdry rucksack let in so much water it started to pool in the bottom. Damaged his iPad so badly it needed a new LCD and digitiser.
I hadn't even noticed till I took a closer look at his bag that people actually made and sold rucksacks/back packs without flaps over the zips.

Refund and sports direct are very rarely positively used in the same sentence.

They sell plenty of bona fide goods, the few times I have used them - it's just difficult to see them for all of the tat piled high everywhere!

Please don't tell me Sports Direct have bought the Berghaus brand. If so is sure to follow karrimor etc into the trash bracket. A shame as Berghaus( and most other SD brands ) were good quality before being given the Sports Direct treatment.

Exactly. Are Sport Direct really selling this premium brand good equipment, or is it just another rebadge ?

Im confused because there is a good chance it's a real berghaus, and sports direct rarely supply anything other than their own made tat for a cheap price.

Am I getting this correctly, 4.99 for standard shipping so I click on collect from store and it's still shows 4.99 delivery BUT you get a FREE £5 gift voucher. Well it's not FREE if I am still spending £5 on delivery for something I am picking up myself... Crazy!

Confused, didn't think Berghaus licensed their name? If these are proper Berghaus this is a great deal, but dinosteveus still has a valid point.

What's confusing? This is not a Sports Direct-specific product/brand - Berghaus have been producing this range of bags for ages, been on this site on offer at different retailers.
