Have a very similar machine from Beko from Co-op. Very quiet, great quality, excellent quick washes. Recommended.

Why on earth would you pay so much for a 'SERVICE CONTRACT'? Load of ****. Some people need a good shake. Sales people just love shafting people who have big deep pockets, where they can shove their hands right in as deep as they can go. When will people wake up?!?!?!

I've never had a Beko product, are they any good?
tomwenn to Melbury
25 Dec 15#21
Yes, check out reevoo or similar, the reviews tend to be very good. I went through hundreds of online reviews before deciding on a Beko earlier this year. Installation was simple, and they have excellent settings for short and smaller washes. One wash does it in 40 minutes.

i had my landlord order Beko Washing machine and Beko Fridge/freezer, I thought these come cheap and not good. But it worked continuously well for 3 years since installation.

Woke up today when it twigged what ive been paying .
Heat : these prices just make machines disposable(About time energy/eco ratings included lifecycle)
The kg and A++ ratings on all machines use lower temp(than the selected one) and longer washes.
The eco full load washes takes 3hr on most machine.
For real everyday washes the loads are smaller and cost more and use more water those are the ones you need to compare if you can find the info.

Yes !! We have an older beko washing machine which takes about 3 hours(seems longer) - we only wash full load and lower temps , no quick wash option on ours. Tempted by this just for this feature.

Yes there is, before the order is complete it asks you what date you'd like the delivery to be made (though I didn't check how far forward you could go)

When I ordered mine the earliest delievery date I was able to choose was 27th Dec. I guess Currys must have received a large number of orders for this model hence why your delievery date is in mid Jan.

Ordered. Great deal, great energy rating, despite the 1 year warranty, doesn't really matter, there was a Samsung one I believe priced @ 5 x the Beko, it did have a 5 year warranty, but to be honest i'd rather buy 5 x Beko instead of 1 x Samsung.

Teh answer is in the comment above!
Maybe because the deal was posted 2 months ago in the sale and the retailer is not obliged to keep the same price.
Opening post
Spin speed: 1400 rpm
Quick wash time: 28 minutes

One-year manufacturer’s guarantee

Used on a daily basis, works fine, recommended.
For £149 it's a bargain.
If you need a 8kg machine this isn't a bad deal either - reduced from £349 to £179.99 + £7 del.
