Posted last time at £6 p/kg, so evidently this is a better deal.

what exactly is your point (numpty)? im not criticising anyone, simply making an observation. If this had been properly farmed and the animals actually enjoyed any kind of life then there would be no room for discounts/offers like this, besides which I don't think people should buy discounted meat as it encourages mass production of animals. I'm not a vegetarian, I just choose to buy meat (occasionally)which I am confident has been responsibly farmed. That's my opinion and lifestyle choice, not pushing it on anyone else so suggest you reel your neck back in and think before posting.

Asda's beef is also £4 a kilo and it is the best.Morrison's beef is not good.

hate to think what condition the cattle are kept in to be able to sell at this price. its certainly a cheap price, but I wouldn't buy it.

it's a special offer numpty it's not this price all year round, as with all offers they make less profit but make it up by shifting a lot more.
If you're that bothered become a vegetarian/vegan oh why aren't you worrying about the poor male calves when they're born from dairy cattle?
Hypocritical much

Had some Morrisons Finest beef last night. Was very unimpressed. Their pork we find is pretty good as is their chicken. Beef not so much. I don't think we have had a good piece from them... Not voting either way as just might be a matter of taste.

Cracking deal and we find Morrison's to have far better best before dates than Asda so should be a lot fresher.

If vac pack labelled roasting beef it'll be a load of different cuts all mixed in so there'll be silverside, topside etc it's pot luck.
If you take a few to the meat counter the butcher will be able to tell you which is which, it's worth asking because the different cuts cook differently.
Really worth buying very cheap but very nice

We tried this the first time they sold this 'vac pack' stuff a couple of years back, to find it was tasty if just a tad chewy, we decided to give it another go the next time they did it, this time it was delicious, as it has been every time since.
Now the downside....... after buying the recent whole leg of Lamb, the Gammon and the Pork deals I have no room in my freezer! :stuck_out_tongue:

It's the vac-pack beef, not the topside. Some of it will be topside inside the packs but it's not labelled as that. Just a miscellaneous roasting joint.

Had some good stuff and bad stuff from Morrisons, I think it can be pot luck like most other supermarkets. Have some Heat OP.
