LoL so your one of the many lazy people who go to the hand car wash and pay £7++ for a polish to wash your car with a old dirty rag thats full of grit and old muck. it must be nice to pay to have your car scratched

Lol @ all the hate towards hand car washes.
I have loads of car products including snow foam, clay bars, shampoos, various polishes and paste wax... how long does it take me to clean my car properly? Around 6 ***ing hours (foam, shampoo, dry, clay, polish, polish, wax, wax, wax). At the end of it my car looks amazing but boy am I'm exhausted. Then the wife asks me to clean hers too!
When you just want the muck off and then to get on with the rest of your day a good hand car wash can be a saviour. They have their place.
Some of you need to chill out.

They do everything, it's worth just paying a tenner and leaving your car there, go shopping and come back it will be immaculate inside and out. And you would have paid a tenner parking in town lol

Or it may not even have that much value to them in the grand scheme of things.
I love my car but not enough to burn 2 hours cleaning it that I could have otherwise used to make money or perfecting my craft.

This is such an ignorant and stupid comment!
1. Not everyone's place of residence has some place like a driveway where they can wash their car. For instance, some people actually have to park away from where their places of residence are. Have you ever been to London?
2. Not everyone has the opportunity or time to spend an hour or more cleaning and polishing a car thoroughly. Most times, this has nothing to do with laziness; some people would actually rather utilise that hour or more earning money or even shopping. Time is money for some people so for them there's more value in paying for the car to be cleaned than burning an hour or two that could've been spent making money or spending time with the people who matter.
3. Many people lease cars and even most who don't have no emotional or sentimental connection to a car so why spend an 1-2 hours caressing it when someone else can probably do it more efficiently, whether the job will be done to the highest standards or to standards that are just acceptable? Scratches on a car are a fact of life and even if your car loses some value because it was scratched from washing with a dirty rag or if you have to pay a little extra to the leasing company when you return the car, is the lost value or extra charges going to cost as much as losing an hour or two of productivity or personal pleasure? I think not!
There is an opportunity cost to everything and this differs by person and circumstance so maybe you need to spend less time judging people because they don't make the same life choices as you, especially when it comes to a material object that will inevitably get replaced in a few years!

For anyone looking to take the effort out of cleaning the bodywork, especially if its very dirty, I'd recommend investing in a pressure washer and some snow foam (with a lance attachment for the pressure washer). Spray it on, leave it for a few mins to soak in and just pressure wash it off.It does not get rid of tar deposits, you'll need another product for that.
Its a shame also that the best Autoglym product is not actually included in this deal, and that's the Express Wax/Aqua Wax. Very handy for putting a layer of wax on your car while its still wet. Not as good as a hard/paste wax, but very good indeed...and smells amazing!
