Had this for years. Awesome bit of kit.
Got it connected to my sky router, so my online gaming doesnt get interrupted by other devices

I have one of these, few words of warning:
No guest network,
No fallback LAN,
No external antennae so Wifi strength isn't amazing,
And the WAN connection has crapped out after just over a year of use so it doesn't connect to the internet any more and is no longer under warranty.
It's got decent QoS and USB support though and can work with an Android phone to tether its 4G signal which is a plus.
It's a mixed bag.

Exceptional price for this router but I'm not really sold that it'll make much difference to me (currently running a Virgin Superhub which hasn't got a great rep).

I'm using a slightly higher spec version of this along with my superhub. Wireless now actually works without crashing and I've not had to reboot anything for weeks. Wireless range is far better as well - definitely worth getting and letting the superhub just do it's stuff in modem mode.

you can use your hub as a modem (google it, change in your superhub settings) and attach this beaut to it as a router - so tempted to purchase - quality gear & heat added

Put the super hub in modem mode only and use this router 150% better

Yeah fairly simple just put the router in Bridge mode and connect it to your current router using something like a powering adapter and you're done

Excellent router. Rock solid, dual band - put all the pesky kids on 5.4 and keep the 5 for yourself
Handles USB hard disks for a basic NAS/media server.
No, it doesn't support AC, no it doesn't have a modem but seriously this is a top notch router at twice the price.

Do you need the white BT Openreach Modem?

An excellent router. Highly recommended upgrade to whatever junk an ISP palms off on you whether you have ADSL (you will need a modem) or fibre / cable

I've just had to replace mine after three years. It started to drop out almost daily. I suspect it was overheating.

can this be used with Sky optics? I heard sky is very picky on routers. thanks
Was just about to post this! Good deal, going to use mine as a bridge!

Is this easy to set up? Presumably you do this to improve wi-fi in certain areas? I only ask as I have an Asus router which is very good but its upstairs in the corner of a study so downstairs in some areas is a little weak and I was looking to improve it.
