Seems like a great deal I saw the other Asus monitor but it wasn't Vesa Compatible! Also this is frameless ideal for dual monitor setups!

Yeah, I guess it shows the frameless aspect is more of a styling/marketing thing. After all most frameless monitors have a "glass bezel" within the panel, even when there is no external frame. Its like the mx279 (and other mx series) which is a gorgeous monitor BUT with a tilt only stand and NO VESA holes. Form winning over function.

Dumbest designed bezel I've ever seen. They make it 'frame-less' then put a lip on the bottom that stops you having them flush side by side.
