Anyone who's played this, how much is in present (future?) Day? Personally I wish they'd just do away with all that and just let the story run with the assassins. Find the future stuff drawn out. Might bite at this though, Xmas present to myself....

I'm guessing they're dropping the price so that we all buy the new Jack the Ripper DLC which is released this week.
(Although it's only a short extra mission, the Runaway Train DLC seems to be free for the XBOX One, but I can't see it in the Playstation Store - maybe for PS4 season pass only, if you don't get the code in a special edition box?)
Definitely looks worth the extra fiver, given you get a regular box for your shelf and another mission included.

The "Steel Book" version includes a metal case in which to keep the game disc, as you can see in the Amazon listing. Some people like the steel cases.
All "editions" of the game include the main story on a disc. Some of the "special editions" include bonus missions or physical extras (like maps, plastic figures or soundtrack CDs). Finally, there is a separate thing called a "season pass" code - which currently costs £25 - which grants a player access to all extra missions and game content.
If you are thinking of a Christmas present, I would say that the "Rooks edition" in this listing (£29.99 from GAME or Amazon) would make a really great gift - it's a fair price for you, nice packaging and includes some great extras (map, bonus missions) which will be appreciated by the lucky recipient!
