were £3.99 last week..... might be free next week though....
Thinking of getting a couple boxes for my kids to make some bauble pyramids, they want a christmas tree in their room but since they are only 4 and 5, I said no!
Let them have a small tree, but only if they are good

I saw these and they're not great, scratched and a bit lumpy looking. Probably be ok for craft activity but you are getting what you pay for.
Sorry to be the grumpy one- just don't want lots of wasted trips x

So long as these are not glass baubles! in which case it would be safer to give them a small tree

A wee tree wouldnt be the same without lights on it though, and they wouldnt go to bed without the tree lights on! First night we put the tree in the dining room, we turned the christmas lights off when the kids went to bed and my wee boy got up, came downstairs and turned them back on when he woke up in the middle of the night!
Wish they were glass baubles at this price though! Think they are just cheap plastic!

What about a tree and put battery operated lights on it? You could tell them it has to be switched off at bed time because the lights will keep the elves awake and they would be too tired in the morning to make toys for good boys  Love the idea of a bauble tree tho, and I was looking at a project of a door wreath made from a wire coat hanger and baubles the other day so I think I'll be buying some of these

This is why I plug my tree lights into one of those wall adapters operated by a remote, so I can turn the lights off without walking into a room and disturbing my son, he's also 4 years old!
At least with them being plastic they are child safe, I learnt the hard way a couple of years ago when he was only 2 and smashed glass baubles everywhere !

I get the battery operated lights for the small trees in their bedrooms and put my sons off once he is asleep and he loves putting it back on when he wakeds up in the morning

Picked up mine today and they are a lot better than I expected. A mix of shiny and matte in different shades so a good mix, and none broken or cracked.
