For a failed console that's going to be replaced next year the wii u has stubbornly held it's value! I would like to pick one up but they're still too much for the 3 games I want to play.

How is this a good deal? They were sub £200 not that long ago. Just wait. If it happened once, will happen again. Most products fluctuate in price but its not a hot deal for me if its higher than a recent price.

Got mine second hand for £180 with a load of stuff! after selling most the stuff (two mario and luigi wii plus remotes fetched £62 on ebay...) I got a 32gb wii u with mario kart 8 for £20......not meant to be too much of a brag......but for me i just wanted to play mario kart again and nothing else...couldnt justify paying so much for a console and one game............check gumtree people!

'For a failed console' there are still many people wanting one, which keeps the price at what it is, bit like Apple really, can only sell them at the price they do because of the demand.

Never got the appeal of SSB, it's barely out the box.
The other 10 games we have are available elsewhere.
Voted cold.
£150 should be the norm for this end of line console now.

When the new console comes out its worth buying If the price takes a dive. Never pays to buy current gen. That been said I have a 1600 quid gaming pc. The only reason to buy is the unique games, though you can emulate Mario kart 8 on a pc.

Honesty if GAME have them at £199.99 today that would be my preferred deal since it's a UK model. The deal at the CZ shop is £214.99, minus £5 for joining their newsletter, and it says it comes with an extra game (Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U).
The downsides with that deal is it's the euro model (as is the amazon FR deal above), so £2 adapter and lower resale value.

Why can that shop not be mentioned? Is it a shop that can be trusted? I want a Wii U with Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U and was going to buy the Mario/Luigi game from Amazon for £65 cause you can't get it anywhere anymore but would be tempted to use that other store if it included that and Mario Kart in the bundle

I'm a little skeptical about actually getting the Mario/Luigi game since it's not mentioned on my dispatch notice or invoice, and apparently rachbarginhuntermumof4 didn't receive it, and I'm pretty sure it was listed as part of the deal over a week ago.
I only ordered yesterday so I won't find out for about a week (mine just dispatched and the due date is 22nd).
The GAME deal turned out to not be nationwide btw.

the games I got were Mario zombie u and fitness one...sounds like games may have changed I would have preferred Luigi game...but with 2 games with 32 GB console was by far best deal I have seen. arrived no probs after a few days of ordering.

Thanks for the info! Ended up ordering one today from the shop that shall not be named, I got an email confirmation and a dispatch note, both have the Mario/Luigi game on a separate line so fingers crossed - its the only reason I ordered it from there as not saving that much on the MK8/Splatoon bundle vs the Amazon price by the time you factor in the 2 plug adaptors. Took a screen shot and paid by Credit Card so if goods are not as described I'll claim back on my CC, saying that it looks promising so far. Cheers!

How do you emulate MK8 (i.e. wii u on PC), thought it still cannot be done [reliably]..... Though if i hadn't have bought one, I would have never discovered Splatoon - which I am playing more than CODAW and COD BO3 on XBOX one...

Well my Wii U turned up and there's no sign of New Super Mario Bros. + New Super Luigi. I've e-mailed them and we'll see what they do about it, but Alza are still listing it as part of the deal and it's worth £40+ so I'm gonna be p***ed if they don't sort it out.

It's a work in progress emulator by the end of 2016 (when I assume it's the last year of Wii U too) it should be very stable which will render the Wii U useless for those who see it's not worth £200+. I can't blame them, it should definitely be around £170-180 now.

Can I ask people who have received bonus games (not including the Splatoon download code) from Alza whether they were boxed games? They told me New Super Mario Bros. + New Super Luigi should have been in the WII U box, either as a code or as a disk in a paper case, but it's not, and people here seem to have received their bonus games seperately.

I received three boxed games; Mario & Luigi, Zombie and some fitness game. This was is additon to the console with Mario Kart and Splatoon that came in a separate package.

I ordered mine on the 14th the wii u turned up on Saturday it was just the wii u box wrapped in plastic.
Today I got the super mario/luigi disc with my plug and a receipt the same you get like when you buy from a shop all in a plastic envelope
