If its garbage, which sometimes it is, zip it back, full refund, no faffing about, I do shop online a lot but I also like going into a shop, dealing with humans, with pretty much instant reaction.

​checked there unless u count non branded stuff from China nothing is available for 6.50 for 32GB class 10, u can get 64GB around 11 Quid but that's a different story all together

It's a great find, honestly 95% of this regardless of brand They are fakes when bought on line Even on Amazon or ebay! Good thing is that buying from shop, you have a year to play about with it & if any hick ups then take it back to the shop..

I'd say online is less hassle - for one (and this is pretty important) you don't lose the receipt like you do with Aldi!

Hmm ....well I have hassle with both, with Aldi at least I could go in and state my case, (no one hears you if you stamp yer feet online) and it was sorted - I lost money online recently with a seller on Amazon - so in my case its - live shop 1, online 0.
But its horses and courses - I know it just depends on so many aspects - I keep all my receipts in a big shoe box, now where is that Doc Martens box come to think of it......:smile:

Exactly! And not everyone wants a 64GB. I wanted some for tablets I got some relatives for xmas and they use up to 32GB cards only so a 64 would be no good for me. Can't believe people are picking holes in this deal!

Congratulations. I was replying to the poster who was saying that he/she could buy a 64gb card for the same price. My reply was pointing out that the majority of people who pick this up are going to be splitting the total of 64gb across two devices, which makes the original comparison moot.

Got the 64gb for £10 from argos, so not blazing hot.. Still OK value wise..

Lots of fake cards out there, Ebay is especially bad, as is AliExpress; but even Amazon serves them up. I've got a fake 32GB Samsung Evo microSD sat in front of me, bought 6 months ago from a top rated Amazon trader; I lost a lot of photos and video clips of my baby daughter with this card. :-(

One of the more recent cop-outs by sellers is to headline 32/64/128/256GB, but in tiny print buried in the description it says they may be of a smaller capacity; that means no refund for you, even if you do test it on arrival.

It might take forever, but EVERY card I buy now gets tested with h2testw.exe before use.

Fair deal, but honestly not worth anything like 800+ degrees of excitement. So I'm fighting the fire.

I actually thought that this coming Thursday's Aldi (unlocked) dual-sim 4g Android Lollipop phone (with 3 year warranty, sd card slot, etc) was a pretty good deal ... but it seems to have ended up about 1000 degrees lower than this. Heigh-ho!

The problem with these rebadged Chinese phones is finding out what 4G channels they work with; most of them dont cover 800MHz, so wont work with o2/GiffGaff, and they usually only cover 1 or 2 of the channels the other players in the UK use, so 4G performance can be spotty.

I run a Xiaomi Note 3G, even though the 4G version was the same price precisely because of the 4G issues with o2/GiffGaff.

Yeah, this deal is getting far more heat than it deserves. This is pretty much an average price in todays market, although it gets credit for being a supermarket.

as said, there have recently been deals for 2 x Samsung Evo and 2 X Sandisk Ultra Micro 32 cards for £15 and quidco made them £14.50 I think.....without doubt the best £1.50 extra you could spend.

For a bricks-and-mortar retailer that's certainly not bad. As others have pointed out, though, there are usually better deals available online.

Amazon traders are no better than traders on eBay. Even if they are honest they still have to source the product from a suspect supply chain. I would only ever buy SD cards from Amazon if they were actually being sold by Amazon direct. I always use h2testw now, but luckily I've never had a fake one.

I would trust Aldi over any trader on Amazon or eBay.

Great spot thanks poster. Excellent price for 2x 32GB class 10 micro SD cards including adapters and cases. Can't beat that in any physical shop and online ones barely match that for no-name brands from China. No hassle with delivery or posting and I have the cards in my possession 10 minutes after seeing this deal.
