How does buying an advent calendar make a dog a member of the family ?
You could just buy a bag of dog treats instead. The dog is not going to know what day it is on the run up to Christmas, the dog can't open each day on the calendar like a child would.
Buying a Christmas gift for a dog I can understand but this is just an utter waste of packaging if you ask me.
If you really care for your dog then buy it some decent quality treats and not this tat and give it one of them a day on the run up to Christmas,I can guarantee it won't ask where it's advent calendar is this year.

I don't let any of my dogs have the raw hide bones or treats as iv'e heard stories of dogs choking on them because they have'nt chewed them properly, and just swallowed a large piece that blocked their air way!
I also lost one of my dogs recently, and the vet thinks it may have been caused by a piece of bone that he had eaten pierced his stomach and caused internal bleeding. :disappointed:

I used to write my cat a card, wrap presents for him and a stocking - so I suppose I am sad  Will look out for this

funny joke..
but in seriousness the raw hide stuff from poundland is terrible. it's made my dog sick, a few work colleagues pets sick too, don't reccommend it to anyone. And unfortunately this calendar I'd raw hide.

How sad
WTF is the point of these,it's not like a dog is going to know what an advent calendar is.
