Not to be confused with the 10 year old stuff, this is a really nice drop at a great price.

Never tried it, and believe me it's taking some restraint to not break it open in advance of my original plans

As far as I'm concerned, the A'bunadh is the best - bar none !

I've two bottles of Aberlour A'bunadh under the bed for New Year's Eve... (I got them for £20 each with some a discount code and cashback through Waitrose, bargain!) but couldn't resist picking this up at this price!

I did that too. You can cancel it immediately and still get Prime for the 30 days

They had that on the other day for £26.99, good price for a great whisky. I'm tempted by the Bulleit Rye myself, worried I'm overdoing it though. I've amassed a collection of 4 bottles of bourbon and 3 bottles of single malt throughout the course of these lightning deals
In our local londis (bourton on the water) this is £20

Good price. Definitely worth some heat. How does this compare to the 10 year old? I have tried that and enjoyed it.
Like others have mentioned, there is a deal on tonight, but i'm guessing if you don't have prime you will miss out. Even if you do have prime it will still be sold out in a fraction of a second. Probably only have 2 bottles, and hope you will buy something else if you miss out.
On a side note. I was a bit of a Scotch snob until recently, but I tried the Bulleit 95 Rye that is also on a deal at 6pm tonight. Absolutely lovely stuff and I believe Jim Murray gave it 96/100 in his whisky bible. Was at £21.99 in a lightning deal a week or two ago, so I guess it will be similar tonight.

I've tried both and this is more heavyweight compared to the 10 year old, deffo worth the premium :smirk:
Will keep an eye open for the Bulleit 95 Rye....might have a shot in the pub rather than committing to a whole bottle :smirk:
There is actually only 99p difference in the RRP of the 10 year old and the 12. The 12 year old is double cask matured.
If you don't have a Tesco nearby this 12 in Asda is £27 and the 10 year old currently has £10 off and is £22. Just having a quick look at other supermarkets, Sainsbury's is £26 for the £12, Morrisons however are matching the lowest price for the 10 (£22) and 12 (£25).

Not sure what your point is. Tonight's reduction will be based on the existing price of £26. They'll quote the RRP in the deal to make it look like a better offer, but the final price will still be well below £25 so it's worth waiting for anyone who wants a bottle.
Like me for instance.

I agree that it's currently £26.00, but if you click here and scroll down, you'll see the price they'll be working from....it's all wrong !

Er, it's currently £26 on Amazon. They'll definitely beat £25 during the lightning deal this evening.
Closer to £20 going by the other single malt offers they've been running this month.
