unless you possess a time machine the same model from John Lewis is £99.95.
I got one from JL last week and it's a great bit of kit. Much easier to clean than a blender and makes great smoothies!

Yes that is JL standard email, its correct just go ahead and buy and if you decide to keep then you email them and provide the reference code to them and they will refund the difference without any issue.
You must buy the item within 30 days of them accepting to price match
I did the same with no problems whatsoever, and yes its 2 year warranty with JL

Got the confirmation email as well however the email does not confirm the matched price but states I need to buy it at JL's price then get a refund after 28 days?
Suppose 2 years' warranty even if price matched?

You did well! I did begrudge paying the postage but still a bargain. Funny to see it on QVC as a TSV today too. They had a nice little package with extra cups for 60 pounds plus postage...

I found there isn't much stock of this in stores looking at the Homebase website but if you look on ebay, Homebase are selling them there for the same price plus postage.

that is good to know. Its a shame that homebase does not keep the stock, I picked up mine 2 weeks ago, it was the last one, and its out of stock since.

Read it backwards, no you can't. I think the person that got it was a one off thing, possibly a staff discount. So not exclusive to everyone.

After kindly refusing the £12.99 3 year warranty, The lady in the store applied a 20% off £50 spend voucher when I picked it up. So I ended up getting the 3 year warranty for £2.99

Also bought from John Lewis, it's a great buy at this price. All of a sudden my fridge is full of healthy fruit and veg, and there's no shortage of smoothie recipes for you to try.

isn't it true though that all retailers have to honour a 2 year warranty for electrical items... Might be more hassle than with John Lewis but I'm sure other retailers would have to honour if something or other goes belly up
