Just bought for a pound at Tesco Extra store in Musselburgh. Was originally £6 then went to £2 and now scanning for only £1! Decorative metal tin contains 8 Kit Kats (4 x Chunky and 4 x Four Finger Bars). Shelve price still says £6 but definitely scanning for a quid. Bargain!

Looking at a few Tesco deals on this site and it looks like they still have not got a clue about pricing to the customers benefit.

Big tesco at king cross, like 5 mins from Halifax. I think it's called acchen way or something like that. Tesco in the middle of Halifax and Tesco extra 2 mins from Halifax. Then one in Sowerby bridge. :-) we are full of tesco's
soldierboy001
25 Dec 15#76
Yes but according to the web site Sowerby Bridge is the only superstore and according to others these are not available in extra or metro stores.

Have they got a big Tesco in Halifax? I ask because I asked my mate to get me one and he said they don't have a big Tesco there.

But thats why KK tin is so fancy compared to Danish of Quality St, so you use it and buy it. **** food causes ailments, end of, treat or not.
Enjoy, rather made a choc cake with ingredients I approve, which I do, weekly

A logo tin...its induced shopping, you will most likely buy KK most the time. Get rid of advertised things out your kitchen and you will eat healthier and have more dosh. Cold from me. 1051degrees...BBBAAAAAAAHHHHHH

Firstly, doubtful. In my experience danish biscuit and chocolate tins generally seem to spend their lives housing sewing supplies and assorted "useful" debris like loose screws and old keyrings. No reason this'll be any different.
Secondly, most people have occasional treats. If you wanna go eat nothing but quinoa and carrots then feel free to live a borderline orthorexic life.
And thirdly, this is cheaper than buying the chocolates inside separately. You could throw out the tin and this would still be a deal. Or give it to charity or use it as the basis of a craft project.

No need to worry about best before date on chocolate products I've been eating 2 to 4 year old Kit Kats no problem if stored properly.

There are some real bargains with Nestle products at Tesco at the moment:
This tin
Quality Street 2 for £6 Multibuy
Black Magic/Dairy Box truffles are BOGOF at £3 a pouch (I know these are no longer great brands but at this price they are good for nostalgia if nothing else!)
Matchmakers £1 a box (another good stocking filler)
The actual "tin" Quality Street (1.3 KG) assortment is £7
Christmas Aero bar is £1.
I must admit I don't really like the taste of Nestle chocolate but these are all hot deals!
