Was 50% off certain lines in my local Sainsbury at Maypole Birmingham. more than 50% on some as well, got the wife a gingham dress that was £22 down to £5.40 and my daughter 2 pairs of sparkly glitter shoes for £4.50 each instead of £9.
So some good savings.

in my local sainsburys (Hayes, UB3) they had alot of half prices items. all i want to say is be carefull when buying. They had alot of items which they earlier sold as 2-4 piece sets (it states on the paper price tags and on the fabric tags which are inside the clothes) but people do not notice this because they stick the round red 'half price' sticker on top of where it says '2piece set', '3piece set' etc. for example they had girls long jumpers which they sold with matching tights, but today when i went to buy stuff for kids i saw that all of those jumpers had no tights with them. this is just an example which i saw but there are many many other items which are not in sets anymore. so not really a sale or bargain if we fish one those items.

I have noticed this before in sainsbury but always taken it to customer services and pointed out its part of a set but other items missing. They have then reduced the price further for me. might work in your local store.
