They seem few and far between recently. People think sarcasm and belittling people is more fun. Shame really

It may look a bit better if you changed the title so it didn't look like it cost 480!!!

Resorting to insults based on someone's post history is deeply sad, you know you've already lost an argument when you have to resort to such childish tactics.
Still, 'tis the season of goodwill so Happy Christmas and I hope santa brings you a life

Just a quick question, I've been looking at something on AMAZON.DE and was just wondering if there are any additional charges by way of taxes or any other hidden costs when buying within the EU for delivery to UK?

no, we're all in the EU.. postage costs may be higher.
in theory warranties should be EU wide but in practise you might have to send it back to the country where it was bought

Pay in euros and it's cheaper for you bank to do the conversion rather than Amazon with their deluded exchange rate.
I've done this just yesterday. It was extremely easy. As simple as pressing a button, waiting and then swapping over the hard drives, Which is just a few screws.
I used a free trial of a software called carbon clone copier which does all the work making it it bootable, copying the recovery partition and all that jazz itself.
Definitely worth the upgrade. My mac runs super fast now. Wish I'd done it sooner.

It takes about 10 seconds to find the answer with a search. Asking people for help before doing a simple web search means you are either terminally lazy or shouldn't even be contemplating changing a hard drive.

Or maybe I was asking a genuine question. Maybe you shouldn't waste your breath next time. Farking keyboard warriors

You could have been a keyboard warrior yourself and found the answer without asking. You did say yourself it was a stupid question. I would say however it was a lazy one, not stupid.
