When I make my own chicken nuggets I put the meat into a blender. It makes it easier to shape specific sizes and it lets you add in seasoning, plus it's more succulent when cooked IMO. Using whole cuts of chicken breast for nuggets can result in them being a bit dry.
As Birds Eye state, the rest of the ingredients are for the batter.
And gristle? In chicken? Seriously?

Don't worry I don't ... my daughter had them at a friends and spat out a lot of gristle, not just a little, but rather a lot ... so just a heads up  I always make my own.

Yes seriously there is gristle in chicken that is not 100% breast and unfortunately Birds Eye Chicken dippers are processed and not 100% breast, hence they can use a lot of fat and gristle

Yep ... there sure is  ... after thinking my daughter was slightly over reacting I bought a packet and believe me they are disgusting and she wasn't wrong ... they were full of chewy gristle :disappointed:
