This. These are poor batteries, although the price is ok. Go for Ikea 10 pack for the same price and better. or I find Kirkland are the best (that I've used anyway) if you are a member at Costco.

Whilst Duracell are probably the best just don't forget that there is more than one version of AA and AAA Duracell battery and they will all have a different life expectancy.
Also compare the RIP OFF supermarket prices for Duracell and other battery makes and you will find everywhere other than all the supermarkets will be much cheaper. Yet the supermarkets have more clout when it comes to buying in bulk and they DO NOT pass savings on to the end user. Its called Corporate GREED.

duracell overpriced rubbish anyway, supermarket ones are just as good, and Simply duracells are probably lower powered than any Duracell on this list.
It is a common misconception that Duracell make the best batteries, i think it's their devious advertisements which state they last a zillion times longer than zinc chloride batteries, that's not difficult Duracell! most alkalines do!

How is this getting warm? In Poundland you can get 12 for £3 for AA or AAA. Same 'Simply Duracell' product :smiley:
