I tried to open a battery backing lately and found it was a star shaped screwdriver so couldnt do it, was on the look out for some when I came across this set in Poundland. There is a red and a yellow set and they are different, star shaped, prong shapes and hex sets. Really great deal as you get 32 pieces for £1, always handy to keep in store as these are getting more and more popular these days and much more expensive to buy 1 on its own. Ideal stocking filler for grandad!!

Why were you redecorating with screwdrivers??
Surely a paintbrush would've been a wiser choice

I love stupid comments .Buy 2 paint rollers , put in your mouth and we all know you've already got plans for the other one. Hopefully this will stop you putting unhelpful s**t on here. Good luck with your future helpfulness.

Grumpy git. The screwdrivers are for opening the paint cans.

My handle also came apart, :-( good for screws that aren't too tight!

LOLed at "unusual shapes". Its because they aren't made very well. :innocent:

I know that the quality of these will be cheap after all you are paying £1 for 36 bits. If the handle snaps you them in something else, think everyone has spare handles these days. The idea is you have them handy for an emergency. If you only use each one once then its still a good deal, the star shaped bits are more expensive to buy individually which still leaves you lots of spare. Sell a few on Ebay to recover your £1 and you can actually make a profit!!
