I bought this for a tenner at Argos a few months ago, it worked well but I replaced it with a PowerLine adapter.
went to local asda. they had them reduced to £10 from £12 on the shelf label. It wasn't scanning so told the checkout supervisor they are £3 in other store. He checked the shelf and came back and said OK you can have it for £3. I went back few mins later to buy another but had to get the same person to authorise

have to be a very old laptop to not have some form of built in wireless.
