I think its reasonable for a fiver but agree its poorly made. My poles didn't fit so I had to bash it with a hammer just to get it together and am now stuck with something I can't take apart after Christmas.

The RRP of these is ludicrous. Even at a fiver I'm tempted to take it back but will probably just donate it somewhere that'll take it.

Very cheaply put together, glitter haphazardly applied (and quickly unapplied all over your house) to various bits of it and scruffy rather than rustic looking.

Might be alright with all your lights out and just the tree illuminated but then you could just hang lights off a chair for the same effect if you're going to do that!

Bought 2 and I collected them today . Think their great . For one reason and another my OH weren't going to put the big tree and decs up . But these bring a little festive cheer .

Collected mine instore- opened it up and no plug. Hubby hates it so at least it's one less argument- back to the shop it goes

It was £28? Seriously? What a rip off.
Unless they put £28 for 1 hour, then immediately made "discount" to £5.
Even then BbQ making 1000% profit...

Just bought mine from instore.... ticket price was still at £20 until I asked someone to check price. I'm pleased with my buy but wouldn't of spent more than £5.Thanks for the heads up! :smiley:

You need to chill and not get nasty .anyone can hide behind a keyboard .it was all meant tongue in cheek and you spoil it by making it personal.you are right I do go for easily pleased women just ask your wife.

Opinions on the item is one thing, but suggesting I need to chill or that I am easily pleased wont help people decide whether they want to travel to buy a rattan tree! I can only assume you like to use the terminology 'easily pleased' as that's the type of woman you go for.

Opinions is what the site is about so chill baby if you think it's great then go with that. It helps others decide if it's worth travelling to get one .I said it's worth a fiver .half demon hero says a quid .His description is spot on though.

My wife bought this for £1 in January. I took it to the recycling centre in February. It is basically a brown metal pole with sticks and pine cones hot glued to it. This 'decoration' is also known as... I think the technical term is... Tat...

I can't make my mind up if I like it or not :smile: Looking forward to the rest of the decorations being reduced though, usually around the 18th-20th. I love that B&Q do it so early because a lot of their things are nice but not worth the original price.

Keeping an eye on the santa slippers. Love them but they're not worth £16!

Okay, wouldn't pay £28 for it, but I think it does look great and £5 is a bargain.

This site is brilliant for getting bargains ........just I then end up spending money I hadn't planned to spend on items I didn't know I wanted.... :confused:

Ordered and collected two today. I like them, nice if like us, you have little space and ideal for Windows or radiator covers etc (that's where I put ours).
A word of warning though.....they are covered in glitter and now the inside of my car (from the boxes being poorly sealed) and my floors are covered in glitter that no doubt I'll still be finding in 2018!! Would not have paid £18 but good value for £5

I get £10 delivered for 2 as well, not buying any though.

For £5 - not much more than a cup of coffee in some places, I don't know what you expected, but I'm happy with mine, will brighten up a corner nicely!

God you are easily pleased ,doubt anyone who bought at full price would of kept it.collected mine this morning and all I can say it's worth a fiver but only just .28 pound original price is outrageous

I decided to bite the bullet & pay the £5 delivery charge as I live miles from the nearest store. Accidentally put 2 in my basket & it gave me a £5 discount .... consequently, have 2 being delivered to my door tomorrow for £10!!!!! I love a bargain x
