I realised over the weekend that (as ever) almost no-one has a single discount going on Simplehuman Bins. BUT while I was looking Argos kept nagging me about their HWARES20 discount code....
Tada - 20% saving on their bins (and most other housewares).
At my example link the Simplehuman Slim Plastic is its usual $39.99 but with 20% off I have one coming today for £32.00. They also gave me free next day delivery!!
ps: I know simplehuman is expensive but a) they come with 5 or 10 year guarantees, b) the pedals & lids just work - always, c) they don't slide and d) they work with the backstop against the wall.
The 30 litre stainless steel £30, reduced to £20 typical supermarket bins last about 18 months if you are lucky and fail on c, d & e. A constant annoyance. I may jump up and down on my old one once the delivery gets here!
Useful info for others. I'd been focussing on other models before cutting back my budget to the cheaper model. Maybe I missed the deals on the Slim 40L or maybe I forgot. Certainly for 95% of the models its rare to find any discount anywhere. I know I looked damn hard. :smiley:Checked and Wilko have the Slim 25L online at £30, the slim 40L is also £30 on the second page! (The white is double listed at £35 on the first page! Suspect I noticed that one).
So I managed to pay £2 extra for the only model I could have bought cheaper elsewhere, but I did get free next day delivery. That HotUkDeals irony. :disappointed:

I have 2 of these, one black for general waste and one white for recycling. Fantastic bins, very well designed and effortless pedal operation. Very reliable mechanism too

Excellent bins. As good as the Brabantia bins but a lot cheaper.

Thanks! I have been looking to buy one of the Simplehuman bins for a while but they don't tend to be discounted often.
