Went to buy some tubs of Quality street from Tesco this afternoon and a friend of mine who works there told me to leave them and get them Tomorrow as they are going on offer. They will be two tubs for £6. I didn't ask about the other variety s but staff were putting roses, celebrations and Quality streets in stacks everywhere, so could be a chance of them all going on offer

Will also be online

Hope it can help someone :)

Quality Street only. Roses, Celebrations etc not included in this deal.
- DEALS4EVA

£6 off £40: XX7NML until 20/12/15 (might not work for everyone)

1.) Get two tubs for "presents and 'cos it's Christmas.'"
2.) Put in cupboard.
3.) 2 hours get one of cupboard for "just one".
4.) Finish tub
5.) Feel sick and full of regret.
6.) Learn nothing,

All the QS gone in our Tesco Express, but typically plenty of the others (Roses etc) all at 4 quid ea. Funny when the last QS went there were about 14 tins left and this guy put one on top of the other and walked to the counter balancing the lot!! He didn't drop any either!
Anyway, reason for this post, keep an eye out for STAR WARS Darth Vader Soap on a Rope - I got the last few in ours, down from £5.99 to 0.66p each. :sunglasses:

Yes I intend to visit the store later today, but wanted to ask if anyone knew for sure if this deal was available there before making a possible wasted jouney.
It's not about asking someone to be a personal shopper, I'm simply asking a question here that perhaps someone in the lovely HUKD community may know the answer too. I thought that's what this site was all about? Helping others find deals?

Thanks for your input anyway. I take it neither you nor Cameron2021know the answer.

Maybe visit the store and don't expect everything to fall in your lap? Or perhaps even call them to save yourself a trip?

HDUK isn't your personal shopper.

Wow, has anyone else ween the magnificent deals on Quality Street tubs at Tesco on right now?

They have reduced the normal price of the tub from £6 to just £4 each
... and what's more, if you buy one, you get the second one at half price. Yep, that's 2 tubs for the original price of one, just £6. You really can't go wrong at this price.

Several pallet loads available in-store, and people are literally buying them in 2s, 4s or even 6 tubs.. and some even more.

Get down there quick before they all go.

I'm voting this HOT, HOT, HOT!

At Christmas 1978, Woolworths had the quality streets reduced from £6.28 to £4.99. These were 2.5 kilo tins.
£4.99 in today's money is about £20.02.
So we should be paying £20 for 2.5kg. This works out at 0.8 pence per gram
With this deal we are paying £3 for 756g. This works out at 0.4 pence per gram
So we're actually getting a much better deal in 2015. You just have to buy more tubs, if you want the larger amount of chocolate.

I used to weigh 19.5 stone, was a lazy fat ******* in denial who couldn't possibly be at fault for my own weight gain (big boned, genetic ...). then I grew a pair and took responsibility for my eating behaviour. I am now 11 stone 11 pounds and am currently storing 21 boxes of after eight mints which I got for a pound each for the extended family at christmas. Haven't touched a single one.

All you people in here who laugh and joke about how many boxes you are going to munch through, pat yourselves on the back, because you are the ones who are going to bankrupt the NHS over the next 20-30 years, causing yourself a world of hassle in the process.

Love the sheep mentality! A deal that's is good value but hardly a world beater goes through the roof because the price of these chocolates has been kept artificially high by marketing pathetic little tubs for three times the price they should be. People walking out of tesco with twenty tubs like this is the deal of the century, and others regretting not buying more afterwards! Oh dear, you gullible gluttons, Tesco and Nestle are laughing at you!
Likely2 to ludwig352
16 Dec 15 2 #393

its no world beater but neither are a lot of deals on here. However for £3 a tub they make good stocking fillers or gifts to helpful neighbours, family members or to take to work to share out amongst friends. I bought two today, one lot to take to work to share out and the other lot i'll use on xmas day evening when we are having a family fun evening.
Can you tell me how that is being gullible? Maybe you can think or a cheaper alternative for me? I know i'll go and buy 2 generic big bars of fruit and nut from Aldi which will cost me about £2 then i'll break it all up into cubes, then I would need to halve them again which would be enough then for my work pals and my family at xmas.
There is only one 'galloon' on here and that's you!!

Quite literally laughing at some of the idiotic comments on here. Didn't your mother never teach you that if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it.

I'm definitely not a sheep, this isn't a record breaker either

Think some people forget we are all on this page for a reason also. If you were heading to Asda or morrisons to buy these and was told or read they are cheaper elsewhere then you would go Tesco? Surely? If it wasn't too far away

Merry Christmas to you all

I need to fill up (fuel for car, not crap for body!) at Esso which has a Tesco Express. Get a couple tins (sorry, plastic) when I go in, bit of crap for the body over Xmas. 6 quid is reasonable but not fantastic for QS - or any of the others, Roses etc, because they have ALL reduced the weight/size to what they used to be, ffs the average used to be 850gms only a few years back, so they've sneaked a bloody quarter of a kilo away in that time. As for Celebrations, oh please no, f...... awful. QS, Roses, are still edible. Celebrations should be 99p a tin (sorry, plastic bucket - to throw up in).
