Can't seem to find this online, but if you download the free Virgin Red app, you can get this offer by showing the app at a Virgin ticket office just before you travel (or more in advance) on ANY kind of ticket ANYWHERE on Virgin. E.g. you can upgrade to first class, and use first class lounges for £7.50 each, for London to Glasgow, Manchester to London, Preston to Birmingham etc etc etc.

normal price. Forget it its expensive eg think Edinburgh was 200 extra when i went there in August but you get a fuller first class treatment. At weekends its a limited treatment but well worth it for the extra space, nicer seats, sarnies, drinks, cakes

Also been told you have to buy at a Virgin branded station rather than just a station Virgin trains stop at to get this. Don't think that's made clear in the T&C's and is just my luck!

Just done this from euston to coventry, but was only charged £5 each? Think the woman at the virgin ticket desk was a bit muddled up!

The normal upgrade price at weekends is £10 from Wolverhampton to London or anywhere on that line or £15 anywhere north of Wolverhampton to anywhere else
