You get games every month that you can play for the duration of your subscription. 2 of them each month are for PS3, 2 for Vita and 2 for PS4. So if you have more than one of those consoles then it's a better deal. This also serves as online multiplayer subscription for the PS4. If your son only really plays Fifa on PS3 and nothing else then I personally don't think it's much use to him, especially when the free games for the month could include something that is above his age range in rating.

Might be worth another check as further down the purchase page there is a disclaimer saying the deal has ended with a link to an article with few unhappy comments. I would have bought this at this price though, would've been a great deal.

Definitely instant, once purchased check your orders on your account. Then click the order and you can then reveal the 2 codes.

Shopto really don't want to take my money for this. Last time the deal came up I tried to pay by credit card and they rejected it with some stupid message about needing to use the now discredited and mostly abandoned 3D verification stuff. Gave up. Bought one from them later which was physical media and paid via paypal: fine. This time, go there and try again and they won't take Paypal for this because its not physical media so I register my credit card and now they tell me they don't want my money because I haven't had an account with them with credit card for 30 days. But I have had an account with them and it has been used for at least two physical deliveries over the last 12 months so they know I exist and they know where I live...

Got my boy a PS4 for Christmas, so new to all this PS+ stuff. What can buy with this £5 voucher? Anything good?

not bad, i got the 12months plus yesterday from them for 32.99 though, so they have added the £5 top up but increased price by £3. So its not as good as deal as it seems. Still cheaper than buying it off the ps store though! with top up as bonus

What a load of crap the website .
First account already registered but won't let me reset password.
Second won't let me pay with card , when selecting expire date , won't let me choose .
Third added PayPal and won't show as payment options .

I really wouldn't bother quite simply the worst site I have ever used my bank (halifax) wouldnt let me pay because of fraud detection it did let the £1 account check go through but strangely shopto doesn't register the card, you can register your paypal but you cant check out with it, contacted shopto and they closed my account.
imagine how much their making for every new sucker that sighs up to their account and loses a £1

I sort of want the opposite of this deal :laughing: PS+ for as short as possible and £30 or so of credit so I can buy Yakuza 5 with the PS+ discount. Unfortunately I've used a free trial before, boo.

Read the steelbook is worth £15-20 on eBay so that's a really good amount for something as useless as a game steelbook that doesn't hold a disc. It has an awesome design, though.

Think I'll probably go for this unless another deal comes out as I'm sure my sub runs out in about 2 weeks

Thanks, been looking to get a good deal. I used to £5 credit towards the DriveClub + Season Pass deal. Note that the codes are instant but I never received a mail with it in, on the ShopTo site you need to go to your orders and they are in there to use.

Chances are that PayPal isn't an option as its a digital item and therefore not covered by PayPal's seller protection. I learned this after being defrauded on eBay and PayPal screwed me over royally.

Only got one code when i just purchased this, hope this includes both the ps+ and the £5 credit.

i have used shopto for about 5 years now, placing perhaps 5-6 orders a year with them as usually they have good deals and offer reward points, never had a single problem with them. Ordered this ps plus at 4.45pm other day, it was packed and sent out before 5 and arrived the next day. Couldnt recommend them more although you are at the mercy of the royal mails delivery service.

Yes in their defense though I haven't ordered anything from them in the last year, my dealings with Shopto in the past have been some of the best.

Hmmm. No problems with ShopTo in the past but it hasn't worked this time. Refused to recognise my account, created a new account as part of the order process which it now won't let me in to. Says password is invalid and the password reset email just sends me to the login screen!

PS+ runs out on Boxing Day so hope it doesn't take them too long to sort out...

No code for the actual PSN subs....
Very unusual and of course their tel no cannot connect - prob due to X-Mas hols AND their online help does not include "Online download Content" issues. Has anyone else experienced this? Usually this site is fine with my orders.

Has this now expired? I don't see any mention of the £5 credit?

Also, when selecting, I presume 'download' gives you instant access to the code, whilst selecting 'PS4' means it will be posted out to you? There doesn't seem to be any explanation of each option? The download option shows back order but the PS4 one is in stock.

5 days now and nothing. I know it's Christmas but I have received stuff ordered the same day from Ebay. I wish I'd known it wasn't instant/emailed codes, I'd have paid the extra elsewhere. The kids are sitting with a new PS4 and excuses from me every time the postman arrives and no codes.
