100 Pcs Minion Building Blocks 99p.
This was posted over a month ago at a slightly higher price, but now it's a little cheaper and you can still get it before Christmas.
I'm ordering a couple more for stocking fillers.
My first post also.

I doubt very much you'll get it in time for Christmas though (certainly at that price)!

Any reason why it's in $ ? Sure the bank will charge to convert and will postage take longer? x

Although you can display prices in £GBP, you can't actually checkout in anything but $USD. Your bank will probably charge, depends on the account/card. I would recommend paying by PayPal as it works out cheaper than most cards, and you have a little extra protection.
I ordered a couple of the larger sets in October, they still haven't been dispatched as far as I can tell.

I purchased two on the last thread and they came 4 weeks later, they are very very small peaces but good little stocking fillers, providing you get it in time.

I ordered one the last time it was posted. Long but not horrendous delivery time, doubt it'd arrive in time for Christmas though. The box was also fairly bashed and crumpled in places. For the price though, it's worth a gamble!

I ordered two last time and to be honest the quality is rubbish. Not worth much more than £1 anyway...

On the Minion theme, just recieved a set of 5 large wall stickers (25cm-30cm) for £4.29 delivered from a ebayer seller called 'mobile range' this morning. Seem great - and you know kids and stickers!

tiny pieces of very cheap plastic with poor quality of finish- better spend your money on chocolate
I would be very suprised if anyone got this before Xmas now, bought a small one after seeing it in here and took about 3 weeks to arrive. Just a heads up folks.

just ordered 10 for my nephew. He's Lego mad and he'll love to build all 10 (even though they're the same) and just have them on his table. Thanks for sharing.
I'm trying to buy using paypal, but cannot get free delivery - refuses to accept order unless I select a shipping option, either a fiver or sixteen pounds !

i dont think you would get before xmas but i ordered 3 different ones-darth vader and mario..both larger sets and under £2. Also got the lego build on mugs. Used paypal. Some things came in a week, some 2 weeks. All look fab. They send you an email when they send them with a pic of your parcel on so you would have an idea if they would be here in time?

Paypal is not always cheaper, for me foreign exchange + fees work out cheaper when I use my credit card.
One thing I hate about gearbest is their tracking info. I currently have two items "dispatched" but no idea where they are floating around because the tracking numbers don't work - I assume not really dispatched then :disappointed: I may have to rethink my custom after this lot is delivered.
ordered one for 99p, ho[e it comes before xmas so can use as stocking filler

Ordered a mixture of 20 different ones from Gearbest last month , some on offer, some at sale price. I got a bag with ten boxes all the same of the sale price Minions, no reply from my mails to gearbest, have mailed them numerous times. suggest you dont order more than one sort of item at a time from them as they obviously cannot count and do not understand English with absolutely no customer support.

Both my bank cards add £1 plus 5% transaction fee to everything, so paypal is always cheaper for me ;-)
Gearbest used to be much better, you used to always get a photo of your package before it shiped, showing weight, declared value, and the actual courier they used. That sometimes happens now, but tracking is pretty useless now and always says undefined.

My credit card Non-Sterling transaction fee is 2.99% (plus the foreign exchange rate they set on the day).
I use those sites also. 10 days ago I purchased two items from gearbest's EU wharehouse (in same basket). They sent me two tracking numbers, one starting with JD* from UKEXP (whatever this is), and the other starting with NL* from Netherlands Post. Tracking status for JD* is not found, for NL* changed to "Manfiest Generate" today. The NL* email has a photo of the package clearly showing its being shipped from China. What annoys me is that I chose the more expensive EU wharehouse option and they still sending from China - will they credit me the difference? We will see.
All this frustration to save what £20 off Amazon's price; no I don't need this frustration.

You can use this with lego*, you just need an SR-6:
*Unfortunately, if you don't have a shrink gun to hand then you won't be able to use this with standard lego.

They wont be here by xmas as it takes them upto 3 days to get your parcel ready for dispatch
and they state Ships within 4-10 business days
generally we need 4-10 business days (excluding non-working days) for processing your order. The typical flat-shipping time is 10-25 working days.
Total Delivery Time = Processing Time + Packaging Time + Shipping Time There are some external factors which may cause some delay on delivery time, such as remote locations, peak shopping and shipping periods, holidays and festivals, inclement weather and delay by corresponding customs' operations and express company.

UKEXP is definitely from their EU (UK) warehouse, but I've never had anything take more than 3 days after dispatch to arrive.
I've just had the same thing happen with a split order between EU/CN warehouses, one UKEXP and one XFL Surface Mail. Also, they will sometimes switch source to CN if EU is out of stock, and their stock indicators are a bit off.
If you don't mind taking a risk, what I often do is find things in stock in EU, but then order at the cheaper CN price. More often than not it'll come from EU anyway because it's cheaper for them to send.
It's a good site, way better than Alixxxxxx and often cheaper, you just have to have reasonable expectations and hope nothing goes wrong, another reason to use Paypal when buying.
