At least you are able to overcome your irrational hatred and not cut your nose off to spite your face. Those who would turn down a tenner off because of having to buy a pefectly legal newspaper and just cut a voucher out, need therapy and shouldn't be on money saving site.

i don't know why they have this stupid alcohol restriction.

if they're so concerned about customers developing an alcohol problem they shouldn't stock alcohol at all.

i've now got money-off coupons for christmas shopping from lidl, tesco, morrisons, waitrose and sainsbury's.

there's a good free cartoon calendar with the oldie magazine, december edition (but of course one has to purchase the magazine to get the calendar).

Unless the chest freezer is empty, I really struggle to spend anywhere near close to £50 in either Aldi or Lidl. Neither shop fulfills 100% of my shopping needs. Love the bakery in Lidl, their veg is generally better too, but I prefer Aldi's meat selection.

There is an issue with WEEKEND supplement on DM. Many of them miss the Lidl News mag today - looks like a packing error. I bought my copy in Tesco and spoke to shop assistant after not finding the mag. He was happy to check other newspapers and we eventually found somes with the "correct content". MK Asda had the same issue but it looked that all of their DM stock was missing Lidl mag.

You can then see all of the Lidl offers for this week/weekend, next week/weekend and many of the Lidl Christmas offers
The voucher is valid 'till Sunday 6th Dec so all of their offers during the voucher valid period are displayed

The Lidl Dec News (with the voucher) was unfortunately excluded from the "supplements" pack in certain distribution areas

All Daily Mail distribution regions included the weekend supplement in today's editions

If you purchased a newspaper and the Lidl mag was missing from the weekend supplement - they will send you a copy - after possible verification (i.e. 1st word on page 20 of the supplement)
dougal868

Wouldn't buy the Daily Mail under any circumstances but the cashiers in our Lidl today were scanning through the DM voucher for everyone anyway. £10 off and no bigoted rag purchased - bonus

Also, we bought 2 bottles of booze and it went through fine - I'd assume it will as long as you don't need more than one bottle to put it over the £50 you need to use the voucher.

So, just to clarify for everyone, how exactly do you get this £10 off without buying one of these politically inflammatory publications?

dougal868 - "the cashiers in our Lidl today were scanning through the DM voucher for everyone anyway" - how do I get the cashiers to scan the voucher if I don't actually have a voucher?

There aren't any "robot cashiers" at my Lidl either, so I can't trick them with a print-out!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The interpretation of the "one alcoholic purchase" restriction in the Lidl voucher t & c varies from store to store and is completely illogical

There are NO voucher restrictions during the scanning process

It's all down to the checkout employees (with guidance from the store manager)
