yes, if you want it to. The default app supplied allows calls and 3 apps to vibrate. Other apps on Google Play allow for more than 3, with custom colour and vibrations for each app.

You can download another app where you can programme it what to notify you on. You don't have to have the vibrate alert.

Had one for ages and they are actually handy.

Yes there is a hacked app floating on the internet which works great. I have one and i have configured it to vibrate for any important apps.

I have one mi band using it for last 6 months. It does vibrate. I am currently using it for alarm. You can also use tweaked app for other alert option Tweaked android developed by mi users. This is best band you can buy for under £10.

In a fashion yes, the latest update added support to interface with Apple health under iOS 9, however late that day mine stopped working completely (didn't record steps or sleep) not updating its own app or Apple health.

Word of warning and hopefully Xiaomi will fix soon....

Had this for months and was brilliant. Smart lock function which I had not even contemplated was a great addition.
With an add on app got notifications for everything I wanted and basically was working like a dream.

Then last week happened with an app update and pretty much killed everything.
There are many reports of the same thing in the reviews of the app on Google Play so does seem to be a major issue.
It now will not pair properly as it does not detect it as a Bluetooth device. Due to that Smart lock has gone and it seems to lose the pairing regularly so you have to repair but as I say it does not pair properly anyway.

I am hoping they patch it soon and maybe it was due to Marshmallow upgrade but there are too many out there to be something they can ignore especially when it was pretty much flawless.

Just a heads up that there was an update 2 days ago (1.7.421). I was not experiencing the issues you did, I was having issues with the sleep data being wrong. I've got a Nexus 5 with Marshmallow and since the new update mine is running perfectly.

I have a Nexus 5 on Marshmallow also.
I have version 1.7.112 according to the Play Store and there is no option to update so can only guess I am on the most updated version. Updated on 26th October. :neutral_face:

after reading the bad reviews and a really bad experience myself I won't be ordering again
Try contacting them all you get is a automated email saying they will contact you I've been waiting two days

Unable to use my Miband as unable to create an account. Apparently a very common problem. Mibands are cheap for a reason, lots of issues.

Nothing to do with the hardware. If the website is down, it's down. You'll have to wait until it goes back up. Once the account has been created you can use the miband any time no matter if the website is up or down.

Worth it for under £10! Just make sure its the genuine article. Sleep: 'Tracks' sleep by combination of movement and judging when its night time - not amazingly accurate. Usually mis measures, but still has utility value give or take an hour. Very accurate at tracking movement and steps when walking. Bluetooth notifications from phone in pocket or within 100 meters. Also has 'lost' function where phone goes mental if you go over 100m away out of BT range. Battery should last long time between charges - i.e. about a month or you have a clone and should send back. Most of the USP is based around the 7mm battery length which the clones don't have.

Hopefully not too long until the Xiaomi mi band 1s is out. It will supposedly have a HR monitor with a 15EUR price point.

The Play Store version always seems to be at least a version behind for some reason? You can get the app from the link below (Mi Market), it notifies you when there is an update too, once installed you can update from the app itself.

Have this and it's great but a new one that has a heart monitor included - Mi Band pulse. Would suggest you wait for that?
